A flash flood overturned a tourist jeep in Cu Lan village (near Da Lat), killing four South Korean tourists.

At noon on October 24th, a sudden flood swept through a stream in the Cù Lần Village tourist area, Lạc Dương district (Lâm Đồng province).

While the flash flood was passing through, a jeep was carrying tourists from within the resort area on the stream.

A jeep overturned, sweeping four tourists away. After a search, resort staff and locals found the driver and two tourists. One tourist had died, the other is receiving emergency treatment at Lam Dong Provincial General Hospital, and the driver sustained minor injuries.

Authorities are still searching for two missing South Korean tourists.

The jeep driver sustained minor injuries and is being taken to the scene to assist in clarifying the incident.

By 4:30 PM that same day, sources from Tuoi Tre newspaper reported that authorities had found the two remaining bodies of the tourists. Meanwhile, the tourist who was receiving emergency treatment at Lam Dong Provincial General Hospital also passed away.

According to Tuoi Tre newspaper, there was no rain in the stream area when the accident occurred. The appearance of the flood was very unusual.
