At noon on October 24, a flood suddenly poured into a stream in the Cu Lan village tourist area, Lac Duong district (Lam Dong).
During the flash flood, on the stream in the tourist area there was a jeep carrying local tourists.

The jeep overturned, sweeping away four tourists. After a period of searching, the resort staff and local people found the driver and two tourists. One tourist died, the other is being treated at Lam Dong General Hospital, and the driver suffered minor injuries.
Two missing Korean tourists are still being searched for by authorities.
The jeep driver was slightly injured and is being taken to the scene to assist in clarifying the incident.
By 4:30 p.m. the same day, Tuoi Tre sources said that the authorities had found the bodies of the two remaining tourists. Meanwhile, the tourist being treated at Lam Dong General Hospital also died.
Tuoi Tre's source said that when the accident happened, there was no rain in the stream area. The flood was very unusual.
