Mercedes-Benz G 580 with EQ technology EDITION ONE version (abbreviated as Mercedes-Benz G 580 EQ EDITION ONE) has been officially brought to the Vietnamese market by the German car manufacturer. The first pure electric model of the legendary G-Class marks a new milestone, bringing the off-road experience in Vietnam into the electric era, opening up possibilities to challenge the limits for the car-loving community across the country.
Currently, Mercedes-Benz G 580 with EQ technology has only 2 units in the Vietnamese market, both are limited edition EDITION ONE. With this addition, G-Class in the Vietnamese market will have 2 options: Mercedes-AMG G 63 and Mercedes-Benz G 580 EQ.

G-Class - Legend for over 45 years
Born in 1979, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class is not only a luxury SUV but also a symbol of strength, durability and class. With more than 45 years of history, the G-Class has surpassed all limits to become a true legend in the automotive industry, conquering car enthusiasts around the world, including customers in Vietnam.
An interesting fact is that G-Class models are still largely hand-built by the most experienced engineers. Perhaps that is the reason why, over the 45-year history of this legendary model, about 80% of the models created are still in use on the road.
The Mercedes-Benz G-Class, also known as the "G-Wagen" (Geländewagen), was originally developed as a military vehicle. However, with its square design, powerful performance and top-notch luxury, the G-Class quickly became popular and became one of the most luxurious off-road vehicles in the world.

The G 580 EQ EDITION ONE is the first purely electric limited edition of the G-Class, marking an important turning point, bringing the off-road experience in Vietnam into the electric era. Mercedes-Benz has tested the G 580 EQ in many different conditions - from rough, slippery, flooded terrain, to ice, snow and sand, from temperatures above 50 degrees Celsius in the African desert to below -30 degrees Celsius in the icy regions of Sweden to ensure that this electric version still maintains the reputation of the G-Class for off-road capabilities, while taking advantage of the electric powertrain. These tests show that the vehicle is not only strong on the road but also excels in extreme terrain situations.
