A unique combination or just internet speculation?

Yu Tang is a chain of bubble tea and Taiwanese noodle shops owned by the F&B giant Golden Gate. According to the description, this dish is inspired by Taiwan's famous milk hot pot, with ingredients including bone broth, fresh milk, black tea, beef brisket, and… black tapioca pearls. Each bowl of noodles costs 98,000 VND. However, customers will receive a 20% discount when checking in at the store.

Sự kết hợp giữa các nguyên liệu mặn - ngọt đã khiến nhiều thực khách cảm thấy tò mò

The combination of savory and sweet ingredients has piqued the curiosity of many diners.

Although bubble tea noodles won't be officially available until September 27th, this dish has already shown its appeal, being discussed and analyzed online a few days prior. Nhiều lời đồn đoán vè hương vị món ăn trên mạng

There are many rumors circulating online about the taste of the dish.

Một bát mì gồm mì sợi, bắp bò, trân châu và nước dùng làm từ nước ninh xương kết hợp trà, sữa

A bowl of noodles consists of noodles, beef brisket, tapioca pearls, and a broth made from bone stock mixed with tea and milk.

This unique dish immediately attracted widespread attention from social media users, with approximately 6,700 comments and nearly 2,500 shares. Most expressed excitement about trying the bubble tea and beef noodle soup and wanted to share their experiences with others who were interested but lacked the courage to try it.

Phần nước dùng có màu trà sữa

The broth has a milky tea color.

According to diners who have tried it, they were worried that the broth, being milk tea, might cause digestive problems, but after eating, they realized that bone broth was mixed with milk and tea, so overall, the noodle broth was still salty with a creamy, milky flavor.

The beef shank served with the broth was decent, not outstanding like regular beef noodle soup, but not bad either. The black tapioca pearls were probably my favorite part of the bowl. They were chewy, firm, and sugar-free, making them quite enjoyable to chew.

Trân châu đen - điểm nhấn của bát mỳ này - vẫn là nguyên liệu thường thấy trong các cốc trà sữa: ăn mềm và không hề ngọt

The black tapioca pearls – the highlight of this noodle dish – are still a common ingredient in bubble tea: they are soft and not at all sweet.

A representative from Yutang restaurant shared that because this is a seasonal dish, it will only be sold for a limited time. In the future, the beef and bubble tea noodle dish may be sold in areas outside of Hanoi. Currently, the restaurant is continuously seeking customer feedback to constantly improve the quality of this dish.

It's known that not only has the beef and corn bubble tea noodle dish gone viral online for its uniqueness, but the Vietnamese F&B market has also seen many dishes and drinks labeled as "disasters" before, such as fertilized duck egg bubble tea, scallion bubble tea, mixed rice paper salad tea, Mongolian pork bubble tea... Even another F&B "giant" once caused controversy when it launched a shrimp paste and tofu pizza.
