On September 28, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee announced that it had approved the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize the Pink Grass Festival at Dan Kia - Suoi Vang Lake (Ward 7, Da Lat) and Lac Duong Town (Lac Duong District).
According to Mr. Nguyen Vu Hoang, Director of Lam Dong Provincial Cultural Center, in recent years, every time the pink grass blooms, photographers and young people eagerly come to Da Lat to admire and take pictures... They also organize camping to "hunt" for impressive moments when the early morning light shines on the dewy grass hills or the sunset changes the "clothes" of the vast grass carpet...
This year, the Center for Innovation organizes the Pink Grass Festival with many attractive programs such as the Pink Grass Photo Festival for clubs and professional photographers; "Selfie Moment" for young people who like to take selfies with their phones (The Organizing Committee will receive, select and award prizes at the end of the day).

The “Savannah Horse Hoof Race” (saddleless horse riding) has prizes for visitors; the indigenous cultural festival “Night of the Lach people” recreates the harvest festival of the Lach people with activities such as gong performances, xoang dance, and rice wine...
The program “Welcoming the moon on the pink grass hill” includes a performance about the legend of pink grass, a love lantern procession on the hill, grass rings for lovers, releasing wishing lanterns and a fireworks display.
There is also a “Prairie Night” camping trip held on the pine hill in front of the pink grass hill. Participants are guests who book tours from travel agencies.
Mr. Vu Hoang believes that the Pink Grass Festival will be a new tourism product to introduce to a large number of tourists the beautiful grass species that spreads a brilliant pink carpet in Da Lat city and the neighboring district of Lac Duong every November and December.
