The Lang Biang plateau in Lam Dong province is not only known for its beautiful scenery, natural landscapes, and cool climate, but for the past two years, it has also been the venue for the "Lang Biang Pink Grass Festival".

Pink grass is a characteristic wild grass of the Lang Biang plateau, with a distinctive light pinkish-purple color and, most notably, it only blooms brilliantly once at the beginning of winter. Every year, at the end of November, hills covered with pink grass, also known as snow grass, blanket the valleys of this region, making the natural scenery even more romantic and impressive.

In recent years, as many nature-loving photographers have captured images of the pink grass fields of Lang Biang and shared them through various channels, domestic and international tourists have longed to visit this place, to wander on the rolling hills covered in pink grass. Following the success of the "Lang Biang Pink Grass Festival" held at the end of 2017 in Lac Duong district, Lam Dong province, this year the organizing committee has decided to continue holding the event, tentatively scheduled from November 23rd to early December 2018.

Visitors to the "Lang Biang Pink Grass Festival 2018" not only get to admire the vast pink grass fields, but also enjoy the unique cultural features of the land of a thousand flowers. These include the K'Ho ethnic group's "mountain identity" indigenous culture festival, an art exhibition of pink grass photographs, a souvenir photo booth, and a traditional bareback horse race of the Central Highlands' indigenous people…

The organizing committee also decided that this year's festival will offer free entry to visitors, hoping to showcase the beautiful nature of the Lang Biang plateau to friends from all over the world.
From this moment on, the Organizing Committee and local people are actively and urgently preparing for the festival in terms of infrastructure, scenery, and personnel. The "Lang Biang Pink Grass Festival 2018" promises to become an attractive destination for tourists visiting Lang Biang this winter, helping to enhance the image of Da Lat city and build a tourism brand for Lac Duong district in particular and Lam Dong province in general.
