Lang Biang Plateau of Lam Dong is not only known for its beautiful scenery, nature, or cool climate, but for the past 2 years it has also hosted the event "Lang Biang Pink Grass Festival".

Pink grass is a type of wild grass typical of the Lang Biang plateau, with a characteristic pink-purple color and especially blooming only once in early winter. Every year at the end of November, pink grass hills, also known as snow grass, cover the valleys of this land, making the natural scenery here more romantic and impressive.

In recent years, when many photographers who love Lang Biang nature recorded pink grass angles and shared them through many information channels, domestic and international tourists wanted to come here, to get lost on the hillsides of pink grass. After the success of "Lang Biang Pink Grass Festival" held at the end of 2017 in Lac Duong district, Lam Dong, this year the Organizing Committee decided to continue organizing the event, with the expected time from November 23 to early December 2018.

Visitors to the “Lang Biang Pink Grass Festival 2018” not only get to admire the vast pink grass fields, but also enjoy the unique cultural features of the land of thousands of flowers. These are the indigenous cultural festival “the great forest identity” of the K'Ho people, the pink grass art photo exhibition, the souvenir photo space, and the traditional bareback horse race of the indigenous ethnic groups in the Central Highlands…

The organizers also decided that this year's festival season will be free of admission fees for visitors, with the hope of introducing the beautiful nature of Lang Biang plateau to friends from all over.
Right now, the Organizing Committee and local people are actively and urgently preparing for the festival in terms of facilities, scenery and personnel. “Lang Biang Pink Grass Festival 2018” promises to become an attractive destination for tourists when coming to Lang Biang this winter, helping to enhance the image of Da Lat city and build a tourism brand for Lac Duong district in particular and Lam Dong province in general.
