Ibaraki's Day 2017

To introduce the specialties and scenic attractions of Ibaraki Prefecture to the people of Vietnam, Ibaraki Prefecture is organizing the "IBARAKI'S DAY 2017" event at Aeonmall Long Bien Shopping Center, Hanoi.

On the 3rd floor of AEONMALL Long Bien, you can find unique alcoholic beverages, processed foods, and handicrafts from the three prefectures of Ibaraki, Tochigi, and Gunma in the northern Kanto region – known as a treasure trove of Japanese cuisine and tourism.

The event promises many exciting activities, featuring a six-member idol group from Ibaraki Prefecture and shop activities such as: enjoying sake and various snacks, as well as experiencing traditional Japanese culture like origami, wearing yukata, and calligraphy.

At the Central Hall, there will be a special musical performance by the Ibaraki Prefecture Idol group, along with a quiz contest with prizes about Ibaraki Prefecture.

At the shop (3rd floor, Food Court), you can enjoy Japanese-style tea and sake, along with famous Ibaraki specialties such as nato and Hitachi beef. In addition, you can participate in a meet-and-greet with an idol group and take commemorative photos. Don't miss the opportunity to experience calligraphy and wear a traditional Japanese yukata!

Also noteworthy is the Ibaraki Tourism Information booth, which opened on January 14th at the shop, introducing the scenic spots, local specialties, and tour packages of Ibaraki Prefecture (operating on weekends).

A special tourism promotion film program is being presented by footballer Nguyen Cong Phuong. Nguyen Cong Phuong, currently playing for a professional football club in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture, is the Ibaraki-Vietnam Exchange Ambassador. The film will showcase Cong Phuong's experiences in Ibaraki, where he will directly introduce the beautiful scenery and delicious food to Vietnamese audiences. Fans of Cong Phuong can also take photos with a large picture of the player at the shop.
