Held in Thu Duc City from November 25th to December 1st, 2024, the exhibition offers not only photographs but also a profound emotional journey, connecting people with nature and their own souls.

Inspired by the symbolism of the Sun, the "Source of Life" photo series offers a unique perspective on the Sun's ever-changing journey.
The journey of light through the lens
Driven by a burning passion for sunlight, photographer Hoang Thi Bich Thao has taken nearly 10,000 photos over the years, with more than 50 carefully selected works on display. These are not just simple moments, but also contain her soul, love, and gratitude for this endless source of life.

Sharing her inspiration for writing, author Hoang Thi Bich Thao said: "The sun is an inexhaustible source of energy, not only for life but also for the soul. The first rays of sunlight at dawn, or the sunset, make me feel the wonder of life. I am fortunate to have encountered these beautiful moments, and I want to share them to remind people to cherish the simple things around them."
Through her lens, the sun appears like a masterful artist, painting a wondrous picture of nature. From the first rays of sunlight tinging the horizon pink to the golden hues of sunset painting the entire landscape, each photograph tells a story, evokes an emotion.

Art from Simplicity
Unlike exhibitions that showcase technical skill or employ abstract visual language, "Source of Life" touches the hearts of viewers with its pristine and intimate beauty. In each frame, light is depicted as a living entity, whispering and soothing the human soul.
The author shared: "Every time I pick up my camera, I carry different emotions – sometimes happy, sometimes sad, but always a connection with nature. The sun, with its constant changes, seems to reflect my own mood. This interaction gives each photograph its own unique meaning, both personal and universal."

In each photograph, we see an interplay of light and shadow, a dreamy, surreal space of early morning or sunset.
The exhibition also serves as her way of affirming that art is not something unattainable. "I believe that if each of us truly connects with the life around us, we can create art from simple things. Art is not something distant or exclusive to professional artists; anyone who loves life, loves beauty, and has the perseverance to pursue their passion can become a creator of beauty in their work," she shared.
Beyond its artistic value, "Source of Life" also evokes profound reflections on the connection between humanity and nature. The light in the works serves as a reminder that after the darkness, the sun will rise again; and after hardship, life will shine brightly once more.
The exhibition was originally titled "Life Energy" by Ms. Bich Thao, because, according to her: "The sun not only brings light and warmth, but also inspires optimism. It is an endless source of energy that I am grateful for every day."

A unique art space
On display at An Phu Building (Thu Duc City), the artworks in "Source of Life" are finished on Fine Art Smooth Pearl paper, creating a soft and gentle reflective quality that enhances the natural beauty of light. The oak frames and frosted glass further add to the elegance of the exhibition, creating a space where viewers can easily immerse themselves in pure emotions.
The printing process of the work
In the endless whispers of nature, the author not only wishes to tell of the beauty of sunlight, but also hopes that each person will find their own light within their soul.
The "Source of Life" exhibition is not only a tribute to the sun – the symbol of life – but also an invitation for each person to rediscover the light within their soul. In the whispers of nature, that light reminds us that, sometimes, happiness is simply stopping, observing, and being grateful for life.
