Photographer Réhahn opens his first gallery in Ho Chi Minh City.

03/06/2017

Marking 10 years in his photography career, French photographer Réhahn C. officially opened the Couleurs d'Asie by Réhahn - Saigon gallery in Ho Chi Minh City on June 2, 2017.

The artworks displayed here are the most beautiful and satisfying pieces Réhahn has selected from countless photographs he has taken over the past 10 years in Vietnam, Malaysia, India, and Cuba.

Besides small-sized prints on wood, photo books, and postcards, the gallery features large-format prints on Kodak Endura Metallic paper – a high-quality paper produced in France with permanent color and incredibly sharp and vibrant light and color effects. These works were printed by Réhahn in France and brought to Vietnam, priced from $950 to $4,500, with some even reaching $17,000.

When Réhahn first set foot in Vietnam in 2007, he developed a special love for the people here. He said:“Vietnam is the source of inspiration that led me to the art of photography. That is why I chose Vietnam as the only country in the world to host my photo gallery, as a thank you to Vietnam.”Previously, Réhahn had opened his own gallery and museum in Hoi An, where he lives.
