From around 3 PM on April 25th, the main roads leading to the "heart" of Ho Chi Minh City, especially the historic Le Duan Street (District 1), were crowded with people. From all corners of the city and surrounding areas, they flocked here with overflowing excitement and anticipation. The bustling intersection of Le Duan and Cong Xa Paris quickly became a huge gathering point, where thousands of hearts beat as one, all focused on the special event about to take place. People arrived very early, patiently searching for and securing the best possible spot to fully admire the memorable moments of the rehearsal.

Amidst that vast crowd, the sight of vibrant red national flags fluttering in the wind, banners brimming with pride and enthusiasm, and the dazzling red shirts adorned with the yellow star created a festive scene that was both solemn and lively. The deep red of the national flag blended with the joy on everyone's faces, spreading a special atmosphere, a sacred connection between a glorious past and a proud present.
The State-level rehearsal for the commemorative parade and march in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification was held on Le Duan Street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).
Many eager locals arrived very early so as not to miss any moment.
To ensure absolute security, order, and traffic safety for this major event, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee issued a notice prohibiting all types of vehicles and people without official duties from circulating or parking on many major roads in the central area from 5:30 PM on April 25th to 1:00 AM on April 26th. Key roads such as Le Duan, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Pasteur, Hai Ba Trung, Dong Khoi, Pham Ngoc Thach, Mac Dinh Chi, Ton Duc Thang, etc., were all subject to strict traffic control and restrictions by authorities. Traffic management was implemented proactively and flexibly, ensuring that the event area remained clear and safe for the public and the preparatory activities.
Law enforcement officers were stationed along numerous roads to ensure the safety of the public.
The Ho Chi Minh City Police force has coordinated smoothly and closely with relevant functional units to maintain public order, wholeheartedly support citizens, and be ready to quickly handle any unexpected situations that may arise. In addition, through the public address system, the authorities regularly broadcast gentle but responsible reminders, urging people to strictly comply with instructions, maintain order, avoid pushing and shoving, and raise awareness of protecting the general environment and carefully safeguarding personal belongings.

The City Police also issued practical recommendations, urging people to minimize the use of private vehicles and instead prioritize public transportation or travel in groups to easily support each other throughout the event. At the same time, people are encouraged to choose neat and polite attire and bring essential personal items such as water, a small hand fan, and a light jacket to ensure their health and show respect for this historically significant event.
