Held for the first time amidst a plethora of beauty pageants, the Miss Tourism Northwest – Sa Pa 2023 competition still managed to leave its own mark, making a special impression on the audience with contestants who embodied the distinctive "Northwest Vietnam spirit".
Tran Huyen Anh (Contestant No. 247) – the newly crowned Miss Tourism Northwest – Sapa – is currently a student at Hanoi College of Electrical Engineering. Before participating in the competition, Huyen Anh had participated in cultural and artistic activities and charity work for ethnic minority children and disadvantaged students. With her graceful and elegant walk, Huyen Anh also won the "Best Ao Dai" award in the final night of the competition. Particularly in the Q&A segment, she excelled in what was considered the most challenging part, thus winning the prestigious crown.
Nguyen Bach Van (Contestant No. 825) – The beauty who caused a sensation in the online photo contest "The Beauty of the Highlands" within the framework of the Miss Tourism Northwest – Sapa 2023 pageant. With an impressive profile: First Runner-up of Son La Province 2021, Miss Media Son La 2021, First Prize winner of the English public speaking competition, Outstanding Youth Union Member of Son La Province, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Congress of Son La Province,... Bach Van convincingly won the First Runner-up title.
Nguyen Khanh Linh (Contestant No. 412) was also a name that made a strong impression in the Final Night. Khanh Linh is currently studying at Hanoi University and has an incredibly impressive achievement: Runner-up in the English Speaking Contest at Lao Cai No. 1 High School in 2021. She won the 2nd Runner-up title in the Final Night with her bilingual Q&A performance.
Ly Ngoc Tuyet (Contestant No. 396) – “Beauty with a Heart” at the Northwest Tourism Queen – Sapa 2023 pageant. This girl from Lao Cai captivated the audience with her gentle, kind demeanor and radiant smile.
Tran Thi Thanh Thanh (Contestant No. 223) is one of the girls with the smallest waistline. From the preliminary round, Thanh Thanh not only captivated with her graceful beauty but also impressed with her communication skills and the fresh, positive energy she exuded. Thanh Thanh excelled, winning the "Most Inspiring Beauty" award and placing in the Top 15 of the competition.
Vo Khanh Huyen (Contestant No. 271) is currently studying Economic Law at the University of Commerce. Thanks to her widespread influence, Khanh Huyen won the "Most Popular Beauty" award and advanced directly to the Top 5 in the final round.
Nguyen Thi Van Anh (Contestant No. 302) made a strong impression, having previously reached the Top 30 of Miss Tourism Vietnam 2022 and excellently winning the "Best Evening Gown" title at Miss Tourism Northwest - Sapa 2023.
It can be said that the Miss Tourism Northwest - Sa Pa 2023 pageant is not only the biggest beauty contest in Northwest Vietnam to date, but also a memorable milestone and turning point in the comprehensive preservation and development of tourism, economy, and culture in the Northwest region in general and Sa Pa in particular.
