On the afternoon of August 3, information appeared online that the management board of Nui Chua National Park was coordinating with the People's Committee of Vinh Hai Commune (Ninh Hai District, Ninh Thuan) to verify and remind the group of tourists wearing bikinis to pick up trash. A leader of Nui Chua National Park also commented that the group's actions were offensive.
However, most netizens have the opposite opinion. They think that wearing bikinis on the beach is completely normal. The group's action of picking up trash is even commendable.

Speaking to Zing, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Thuan province, said he had seen the images of this group of tourists. Mr. Hoa affirmed that their actions did not violate any legal regulations.
Ngo Nhu Quynh (living in Ho Chi Minh City) is one of the guests in this group. She said she was upset with the information that her group was warned and asked to remove the image because it was offensive.
"We traveled from Ho Chi Minh City for 3 days, from July 28 to July 30. Picking up trash was not an organized or calculated activity, but completely spontaneous. That day, my group went swimming and the homestay owner went with us. The homestay owner often calls on tourists and locals to pick up trash to protect the environment on the island. We found it meaningful so we did it together," Quynh shared.

The female tourist said she did not understand why her and her group of friends' activities were "condemned". According to the female tourist, wearing bikinis to the beach is completely normal. In addition, there were no signs around the area prohibiting wearing bikinis.
She added: "In the case of having to remove the image, I don't think we did anything wrong. We are simply disappointed with the way some people perceive this action."
