Finland won the 2019 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival

On the evening of July 6, the final round of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2019) took place with the competition between the English and Finnish teams. Although the team that fired the fireworks later, JoHo Pyro - the company representing the Finnish team - left a strong impression on the audience.

The performance by the JoHo Pyro Professional Fireworks AB team, Finland, was themed around the story of the voyage of the inhabitants of the cold seas of Northern Europe. Interestingly, the team used a Vietnamese song as the background music for their performance.

About 10,000 fireworks were programmed by JoHo Pyro and connected to more than 100 computers to rhythmically fly into the sky to the music. Earlier on the evening of June 15, this team eliminated the reigning champion Italy with a performance in the rain.

The new pyrotechnic techniques displayed by the Finnish team were considered by the judges to be exquisite.

The ending of the winning team's performance was marked by the slogan "after many dangers and difficulties, the sailors returned with a song of triumph". This ending was one of the highlights that helped Finland win the championship in its first time participating in the Da Nang fireworks festival.

Facing the newcomer Finland in the final night, Pyrotex Fireworx Company - the representative of the UK also showed off impressive fireworks.

The representative from the foggy land continued to take advantage of the strength of the water cannon effect that had conquered the audience and judges in the qualifying round against the Chinese team.

Many new effects were "hidden" by the UK representative during the qualifying round to create surprises. However, they could not surpass the excellence of Finland to stand on the top podium to receive the award.

This is the 10th time Da Nang has organized the international fireworks festival, and the third year it has been socialized and assigned to businesses. According to Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh - Deputy Director of Da Nang Department of Tourism, during the more than one month of the fireworks festival, the number of visitors staying is estimated at 116,433, an increase of 11% compared to DIFF 2018.
