At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee Tran Tien Dung stated that the "Quang Binh in the Heart of Hanoi" program was organized to introduce the culture and tourism potential and strengths of the province, attracting people from Hanoi as well as domestic and international tourists. At the same time, it is also an opportunity for tourism businesses from both localities to meet and connect tourism activities, in line with the goal of making tourism a key economic sector of Quang Binh province. Therefore, Quang Binh province hopes to receive guidance from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and other relevant departments and agencies to ensure the event's success.
Accordingly, the "Quang Binh in the Heart of Hanoi" program will include several typical activities such as: the art program "Quang Binh in Song"; a conference on tourism promotion, development and connection; an exhibition of photographs "Quang Binh - Asia's Most Attractive Destination"; and a cultural space showcasing Quang Binh's cuisine and art. Leaders of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee stated that they will work with Hanoi to jointly agree on a specific implementation plan, including the time and location of these programs.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien highly appreciated the plan to organize the "Quang Binh in the Heart of Hanoi" program by the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee. However, with only one month left to prepare, the Minister also reminded Quang Binh province to be more proactive to ensure the program's success.
As the head of the tourism industry, Director General Nguyen Van Tuan affirmed that the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) will support Quang Binh province in promotional activities during the program. The Director General also suggested that, for some programs taking place on weekends in Hanoi's pedestrian zone, Quang Binh province should organize street music events featuring songs praising the beauty of their homeland, creating a truly "Quang Binh atmosphere right in the heart of the capital."
