Ensuring the supply capacity during the peak period of National Day September 2 is a great effort of Vietnam Airlines in the context of the aviation industry's shortage of aircraft due to the impact of the manufacturer's recall of engines for inspection worldwide. Recently, Vietnam Airlines received an additional Airbus A320neo and a Boeing 787-10 to enhance service for passengers' travel needs during the peak period.

In order to proactively serve the people's travel needs, transport goods and promote tourism development during the National Day holiday, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam requires Vietnamese airlines to proactively coordinate with travel agencies in developing programs and plans to exploit key localities and countries in tourism, thereby supporting, promoting and enhancing domestic and international tourism activities.

Airlines coordinate with ground service providers to develop plans to serve flights, especially flights operating at night, to support and create conditions for airlines to maintain and stabilize maximum rates and frequencies, and ensure full safety conditions and operating capacity.

A survey of airline ticket sales websites for flights departing on August 31 and returning on September 2 shows that the Hanoi-Phu Quoc route, departing on August 31, flying with Vietnam Airlines costs 3.5-4.1 million VND/economy ticket (including taxes and fees). Returning on September 2, the lowest economy ticket price is nearly 2.8 million VND and the highest is over 4.1 million VND.
