What is Fun Beach Festival (FBF)?
FBF is a series of beach music festivals combined with outdoor entertainment activities organized annually by Nhip Cong Nghe Co., Ltd., bringing together top DJs and singers along with novel outdoor games. With a program organized according to the standards of international music festivals (Tomorrowland, Defqon One…), Fun Beach Festival is considered the Vietnamese version of Tomorrowland.
Who is Fun Beach Festival suitable for?
Fun Beach Festival was initially conceived and formed by a group of young people who loved electronic music and wanted to create a vibrant playground for the EDM community. Over time, FBF has become a favorite destination for young people and couples who want to immerse themselves in the lively atmosphere of music, enjoy the romantic scenery of the beach at night, and participate in various outdoor activities.
At FBF, you can not only party hard with music but also enjoy swimming in the clear blue sea and participate in tons of beach activities such as inflatable rock climbing, giant inflatable wheel, giant Jenga, beach volleyball, and exhilarating paddleboarding...
The festival as a whole is a vibrant, beautiful, and incredibly romantic paradise of music and art. The festival's layout and design are not only eye-catching but also incredibly creative. From rustic, dusty pallets to bundles of straw reminiscent of the countryside, the organizers have skillfully combined them in an unbelievably harmonious way. The beautiful and romantic setting provides ample opportunity for taking photos and selfies to capture the most wonderful moments.
In the evening, after returning from the music venues scattered across the beach, you can rent a tent and relax on the sand, or enjoy a romantic outdoor movie screening with your favorite drink and newly made friends.
Music Paradise
If you're a die-hard music fan, then Fun Beach is a place you absolutely must visit at least once in your life.
In addition to the main stage that will explode with energy at night, the event also features many secondary stages during the day, each with a different musical style, performance, and effects. Unlike all other typical music festivals in Vietnam, FBF is a high-class musical experience with a variety of stages and musical experiences.
At the satellite venues, you'll enjoy the sweet, melodious, and captivating flavors of deep house, progressive house, tech house, nudisco, and especially tropical house. In addition, fans of acoustic, pop, and rock music will be enchanted by the amazing performances of both local and international bands.
As night falls on the main stage, the party heats up intensely with cool techno, minimal, bass house, trap, and hip hop melodies interspersed with extremely energetic genres like bigroom, dubstep, and hardstyle.
Late into the night, after the main stage performance ended, there was also a "secret" stage featuring fiery acoustic performances by various bands.
Meaningful Sea Festival
Bringing a joyful and lively atmosphere, the festival also conveys incredibly meaningful messages: Support Vietnamese artists, Vietnam is beautiful, and Join hands to protect the environment. After three seasons, these messages have been successfully conveyed and received support from many international friends.
After a night of energetic music, the beach was spotlessly clean, with not a single piece of litter to be seen. Attendees were very conscientious in helping clean up the beach alongside the festival's sanitation staff during and after the event.
The music festival also helped introduce Vietnamese artists to international audiences when it was featured in DJ Mag, one of the world's most prestigious DJ magazines. Beyond promoting Vietnamese artists, the festival cleverly incorporated stunning images of Vietnamese beaches where it took place into the article.
What's new at FBF 2017?
Marking its return in April 2017, the 100% "Made in Vietnam" music festival - Fun Beach Festival - will be deeply rooted in Vietnamese identity, drawing inspiration from the extremely famous legend of "The Dragon and the Immortal." Attendees will embark on an adventure into this heroic and dramatic "story" through colorful artistic performances at the event.
FBF 2017, in addition to its innovative theme and the gathering of renowned Vietnamese artists, also features top-tier DJs from around the world. The first list of artists for the event has now been announced, including names such as:
UNIVZ – One of the most versatile female artists on the #1 Dutch record label, Spinnin' Records.
Her music tracks are consistently used by top international artists such as Martin Garrix, Tiesto, Diplo, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas, and Like Mike… at prestigious music festivals worldwide. This is her first time performing in Vietnam, promising an explosive set at the Fun Beach Festival.
Debris – Top 3 on DJ Mag's Young Talents list, Top 3 on Future House Netherlands
Debris is one of the most famous Dutch DJs/producers today, specializing in House music. He's a formidable award-winning artist with a string of prestigious accolades despite being only 23 years old. Currently, Debris is an indispensable name at top clubs and festivals in the Netherlands, and his music is trusted by some of the biggest names in the global EDM scene, such as Martin Garrix, Mike Williams, Tony Junior, Jewelz & Sparks, and many others.
DJ/Producer Hoaprox
His real name is Nguyen Thai Hoa, commonly known by his stage name Hoaprox, and he is one of the most famous EDM producers and DJs in Vietnam today. With his exceptional songwriting and performance skills, Hoaprox always makes the stage "vibrate" with his captivating electronic music melodies.
Hoaprox's hit songs like PPAP, Handsome Guys Get Lots of Girls, LOV3, Waiting For You… are always a must-have at any music festival.
Lou Hoang
Lou Hoang is a name familiar to Vietnamese youth, known as the "owner" of hit songs in 2016 such as: "Counting the Days Until We're Apart", "What Are We to Each Other", and "Loving Someone Perhaps".
Most recently, he collaborated with renowned music director Only C to release the music video for the song "Goldfish Brain," which has been enthusiastically received by the audience.
Only C
Only C – whose real name is Nguyen Phuc Thach – is a name familiar to young people thanks to his hit songs that have captivated millions, such as "Anh khong doi qua" (I don't ask for gifts), "Bong bong bang bang" (Bong Bong Bang Bang), "Minh la gi cua nhau" (What are we to each other?). At Fun Beach Festival 2017, he will play a crucial role: Music Director.
With his ability to produce, perform on stage, and serve as Music Director for major shows, Only C promises to contribute to bringing audiences the most amazing artistic nights.
Tronie Ngo
He is one of the most successful singers in the Rap genre. He is known to the audience as the main choreographer for the group 365, serving as the group's rapper and songwriter. His albums include: Where Are You Now, Late (Repackage Single), Cannot Forget, Sexy Night, Light It Up, Serious Young Man.
MI-A Singer
The runner-up of "Gương mặt thân quen" (Familiar Faces) 2014, MI-A, is a name loved by many young people for her youthful, vibrant music style, blending R&B, Dance, Hip-Hop, and Pop with powerful choreography. With her rebellious and individualistic style, coupled with her talents in acting, songwriting, and choreography, MiA is a promising new talent at this year's Fun Beach Festival.
In addition to the aforementioned names, it's impossible not to mention the more than 50 talented young artists and bands from both Vietnam and abroad who will also perform at the show.
With meticulous investment in both depth and program quality, Fun Beach Festival delivers a colorful and vibrant music festival that satisfies all the needs of visitors.
