The common theme of the 3 contests is to capture beautiful moments of landscapes, daily life, traditional culture, festivals, cuisine, traditional costumes and the friendliness of Vietnamese people across the country.
Participants: Open to all Vietnamese and foreigners, no age or occupation limits.
Time to receive works: From August 15, 2017 to March 31, 2018
VIDEO CLIP CONTEST:
Video clip contest specifications:
- High quality clip (HD, Full HD...) with duration no more than 3 minutes.
- Clips can be filmed with mobile phones, cameras, camcorders or drones. If the video clip is filmed with a phone, the screen must be landscape.
- Authors with clips to enter the contest must send along the commentary used in the clip. The organizers encourage clips that use narrators, guides, and experiences.
- Authors can participate as individuals or in groups. The organizers will only contact the group leader listed in the entry form sent to the organizers and will only award the prize to the group leader (group representative) if the entry wins.
- If music is used in the clip, the music must not violate copyright (you can use YouTube music store, copyrighted free music websites or music stores of video recording applications...).
Contest clips must be accompanied by:
- A brief description of up to 300 words including: title of the work, location of the clip, time of filming, story in the clip.
- Word file of commentary used in clip.
- Names of all music used in the video clip. In case of free music, the source address must be included. In case of copyrighted music, a photocopy of the document proving that the author has purchased the right to use the music must be attached.
- In case the clip uses one or several other materials, the author must attach a list of those materials, the start and end time of using the materials in the clip, the address of the source of the materials and a photocopy of the document proving the author has the right to use those materials in the clip.
- The author is responsible for the legality and costs of music copyright, copyright of materials used in the clip, the content of the contest clip, the authenticity of the information shown in the clip and the information sent to the organizer.
- The entry must not have been posted on a personal blog, social networking site, forum, or other media. The entry must not have won any previous clip contests and must not be participating in any current clip contests.
- Each author can submit an unlimited number of clips to the contest.
- If the clip has sound, the sound must be clear and easy to hear. If the clip has a narration in English, the narration must be in native English (British, American, Australian). Contest clips with narration must be accompanied by a word file of the narration (for entries submitted via microsite or email, or a printed copy for entries submitted by post).
- Contest clips must be realistic, truthful, not violate Vietnamese customs and laws, and must express the author's subjective opinions on issues related to race, religion, customs, culture, etc.
- Contest clips must not contain logos of any brands or businesses, including images of Saigontourist or Tuoi Tre newspaper for the purpose of brand promotion.

- Participants only need to provide information once before submitting their first video clip. In case the contestant does not fill in all information in the registration form, all video clips will be disqualified.
Prize structure:Quarterly prize: worth 7,000,000 VND.
Final Prize:
First Prize: Worth 64 million VND, including 40 million VND (cash) + travel voucher worth 24 million VND (sponsored by Saigontourist Travel Service Company Limited)
Second Prize: Each prize is worth 37 million VND, including 25 million VND (cash) + travel voucher worth 12 million VND
Third Prize: Each prize is worth 21 million VND, including 15 million VND (cash) + travel voucher worth 6 million VND

ART PHOTO CONTEST
Contest photo specifications:
- Contest photos can be taken from digital cameras, regular cameras, mobile phones and/or drones.
- Contest photos must be submitted as digital image files with a minimum file size of 3MB/file.
- Authors are only allowed to use specialized software to edit brightness, contrast, and image size. Authors are not allowed to frame, combine, delete, or add details to the image.
- Contest photos must have full information captions of up to 100 words: Name of work, where, when, and what event took place, with a specific explanation of the story in the photo as possible. The author is responsible for the information related to the photo.
- Authors register to participate by filling out the form on the program's microsite http://bansacviet.tuoitre.vn.
- Participants only need to provide information once before submitting their first photo. In case the contestant does not fill in all information on the registration form, all photos will be disqualified.
- It is recommended that photos be taken no more than 24 months prior to the date of submission.
- Contest photos can be single photos or photo sets (minimum 10 photos/set).
Prize structure:
Monthly Prizes:8 Monthly Prizes: Each month, 1 first prize worth 7,000,000 VND in cash from the Organizing Committee (Saigontourist). Tuoi Tre Newspaper will publish the first prize photo of the month in its publication and notify the winner. The first prize photo of the month will be eligible to enter the final judging round.
Final Prize:Cash prizes from the Organizing Committee (Saigontourist) and travel vouchers from Saigontourist Travel Service Company Limited.
First Prize: 40 million VND + travel voucher worth 20 million VND.
Second Prize: 25 million VND + travel voucher worth 10 million VND.
Third Prize: 15 million VND + travel voucher worth 5 million VND.
Consolation Prize: each prize is worth 10 million VND.
WRITING CONTEST
Contest entry format:
- Articles should be a maximum of 1500 words, and should include illustrations.
- Articles are presented in Vietnamese or English (The Organizing Committee is responsible for translation).
- Authors write their address, phone number, email (if any) for the Organizing Committee to contact.
- The entry has never participated in any writing contest held before, and is not currently participating in any writing contest held. The entry has never been published in newspapers/magazines or social networking sites.
Prize structure:
Quarterly prize: 2 prizes: 5 million VND/prize
- First prize for entries from August 2017 to November 2017.
- Second prize for entries from December 2017 to March 2018.
Final prize:
First Prize: Worth 35 million VND, including 25 million VND (cash) + travel voucher worth 10 million VND (sponsored by Saigontourist Travel Service Company Limited)
Second Prize: Each prize is worth 25 million VND, including 15 million VND (cash) + travel voucher worth 5 million VND
Third Prize: Each prize is worth 13 million VND, including 10 million VND (cash) + travel voucher worth 3 million VND
Consolation prize: 5 million VND (cash)/prize
The award winner (not residing in Ho Chi Minh City) will be supported by Saigontourist with 2 nights of hotel room to attend the Award Ceremony. The hotel will be selected and booked by Saigontourist.
The award ceremony is expected to take place before June 30, 2018 in Ho Chi Minh City.
