The "Quintessence of Northern Vietnam" live performance stage debuts in Vietnam.

Located 25km from the center of Hanoi, the "Essence of Northern Vietnam" live performance stage is situated within Baara Land, an entertainment urban area at the foot of Chua Thay Mountain – one of the oldest temples in Vietnam and a spiritual tourism destination in the Hanoi area. This is also the inspiration for the performance, with a storyline focusing on the founder of Vietnamese water puppetry, Zen master Tu Dao Hanh, and the rich life of the Northern region of Vietnam.

The stage is a 4300m2 lake, nestled against Thầy Mountain, giving the audience the opportunity to admire the performance against a backdrop of majestic nature. With its unique location, visitors can also visit Thầy Pagoda during their trip to learn more about this historical landmark and fully enjoy the Quintessence of Northern Vietnam stage performance.

The sixty-minute performance "The Quintessence of Northern Vietnam," with its chapters of poetry, song, music, and painting, is a precious mosaic composed of the finest cultural elements of the Northern Delta region. It offers a unique experience, allowing viewers to explore the history and culture of Northern Vietnam through a contemporary presentation, with 180 performers on an interactive stage incorporating modern technology. Ca trù, Northern Vietnamese folk songs, Quan Họ, Hầu Đồng rituals, paintings of beautiful women, Đông Hồ paintings, water puppetry, vibrant life on the riverbanks, military drills, scholars studying by lamplight, bustling yet peaceful festival activities… all the cultural essence of Northern Vietnam is showcased on this modern stage, amidst majestic natural landscapes, supported by tens of tons of state-of-the-art sound and lighting technology.

The "Tinh Hoa Bac Bo" (Essence of Northern Vietnam) live-action stage project, showcasing the cultural essence of Vietnam not only to domestic audiences but also to attract international tourists, has been conceived by Mr. Dao Hong Tuyen, Chairman of Tuan Chau Group, the investor behind "Tinh Hoa Bac Bo," for several years. "Tinh Hoa Bac Bo" offers audiences an experience of the unique cultural characteristics of Northern Vietnam, but with creative and well-invested presentation, promising to be an indispensable part of any journey to discover Vietnam.

The show will be performed every evening from 7:30 PM (except Tuesdays) and will last 60 minutes. The auditorium has a capacity of up to 2500 guests, and it takes only about 40 minutes to travel from the center of Hanoi. Enjoying dinner at Baara Land and watching the show is also an attractive option for visitors. Tickets start from 800,000 VND/person (dinner not included).
