SING - The most popular animated film of Christmas 2016

After months of anticipation, the most anticipated animated film of the 2016 Christmas season from the renowned producer Illumination was released to Vietnamese audiences on December 10, 2016, under the title SING (Vietnamese title: Music Arena).

The film premieres in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City took place in a vibrant, festive atmosphere with the participation of renowned artists such as: model Ngoc Trinh, VJ Kaylee, Kelbin, Thanh Van Hugo, Minh Huong “Vang Anh”, Mi Van, Team Yanbi – Yen Le – DJ DsmallThe Remix 2017, Bao Tram Idol, Minh Quan Idol, Quang Anh The Voice Kid, Thanh Duy, Dai Nhan, Dinh Manh Ninh, Duong Tran Nghia, model Thuy Hanh's family, Dan Le – Khai Anh's family... In a grand setting filled with the festive spirit of Christmas and overflowing with red like a real theater, along with adorable film characters and fun games, the premieres truly delivered memorable moments.

Ngoc Trinh, who voices the elephant Meena in the film, appeared stunning and immediately attracted a lot of media attention. Ngoc Trinh shared excitedly: “I’m very excited because this is my first time voicing an animated film, so I always want to do my best in the role of Meena. She’s a teenage elephant with a promising voice but harbors a fear of crowds and therefore hasn’t yet shone on stage. I hope the audience will give me a chance to convey Meena’s interesting story, which will also be a special addition to this vibrant Music Arena competition!”

 

 

Ngoc Trinh looked stunning in a glamorous and feminine dress. She shared that the outfit concept and design were finalized a month in advance to ensure everything was perfect for the film premiere.

 

 

The charismatic couple Kaylee and Kelbin highly praised the film's music: "This is a work that satisfies both the visual and auditory senses. The outstanding cover performances, especially those by the actors, are truly impressive."

When asked about her impressions of the film, model Thuy Hanh's family said that the children had been eagerly anticipating it since seeing the trailer. The whole family was truly satisfied with the range of emotions evoked by the film's outstanding musical performances and were also deeply moved by its profound humanistic message.

 

 

Thanh Vân Hugo appeared radiant after overcoming difficulties and hardships. She happily spoke about the film: “'Singing Arena' truly moved me because of its story about believing in miracles if you have the courage to overcome obstacles and pursue your dreams. This film is suitable for all ages. Not only children, but I believe parents will also be truly excited and unable to sit still with this blockbuster animated film this Christmas season."

 

 

"Hoài Xù" from "Zippo, Mustard and Me" also attended the event with her family. Sharing her thoughts on the film, she said that "Music Arena" brought the whole family hours of fun and relaxation together. The children not only got to dance along to the incredibly catchy songs and melodies, but also received a gentle yet meaningful lesson about the importance of passion and ambition in life. With all of this in mind, Minh Hương believes the film will be an extremely enjoyable experience for all viewers this time."

Set in a fictional world where animals live like humans, the film revolves around the self-discovery journeys of six animal species: a clever koala (Matthew McConaughey) who is diligently building a world-class music competition to revive his theater, a cunning and deceitful rat (Seth MacFarlane), a teenage elephant with stage fright (Tori Kelly), a pig burdened with caring for 25 piglets (Reese Witherspoon), a gangster gorilla seeking to exonerate his family (Taron Egerton), and a punk-rock-loving hedgehog struggling to break up with her arrogant boyfriend to focus on her solo career (Scarlett Johansson)...

 

 

Music Arena premiered on December 23, 2016 in theaters nationwide in 2D, 3D, and dubbed versions. However, audiences had the opportunity to enjoy early screenings of the film starting on December 10, 2016.
