10 car models – diverse styles for every customer.
Speed enthusiasts, those who were once captivated by the earth-shattering roar of the Suzuki RGV 2-stroke, can never forget the saying, "A thousand words are not worth a puff of smoke," when talking about the once-popular Suzuki RGV 2-stroke. After many years, they will have the opportunity to relive those feelings at the Vietnam Motor Show 2017, where Suzuki will bring a space imbued with a sporty spirit, featuring 10 models that have made the Suzuki brand famous both globally and in the Vietnamese market.
The main design theme of the exhibition booth is "wind-cutting," featuring sharp, eagle-like wings – the wings of the legendary Suzuki Hayabusa, representing the spirit of freedom and the breathtaking sprints that generations of Suzuki sports bikes have achieved. The pinnacle of this achievement is the 2017 MotoGP GSX-RR superbike, positioned right in the center of the booth. Visitors can witness firsthand the motorcycle used in the world's most prestigious two-wheel racing.
Alongside the stunning 2017 GSX-RR, there are a host of other renowned commercial motorcycle models that many bikers in Vietnam aspire to own. These include the versatile sport-touring V-Strom and the powerful naked-bike GSX1000. These models all inherit top-of-the-line technologies that Suzuki brings down from the racetrack, offering equally exhilarating performance on the street.
While large-displacement motorcycles aren't everyone's reach, the brand-new smaller-displacement models are a more accessible choice for the majority. At the exhibition, Suzuki Vietnam introduced the 2017 Raider FI 150 hyper under-one sports bike, the GSX-R150 sport bike, and the GSX-S150 naked bike, both new versions. Furthermore, the product range is enriched by models like the GZ150A and GD110, popular choices for customizers, and finally, the Impulse and Address, popular scooter models in Vietnam.
3 new small-sized motorcycle models for Vietnamese customers.
The GSX-R150 and GSX-S150 are all-new sports bikes with a powerful and attractive design; they boast superior engine power and acceleration in the 150cc segment thanks to a harmonious combination of engine power and body weight. Both models offer exceptional handling and fuel efficiency. Above all, this is the Suzuki GSX-R series, a fantastic motorcycle that anyone can be proud to own.
The GSX-R150 has a sporty design while the GSX-S150 has a naked bike design, but they share the same engine: a 150cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, DOHC 4-stroke engine producing 18.6 hp at 10,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 14 Nm at 9,000 rpm. It has a 6-speed gearbox. Safety features include single disc brakes on both wheels.
The new models are equipped with premium features such as smart keyless entry on the GSX-R150, an LCD digital instrument panel, and LED headlights. Both have the same length of 1,975 mm, height of 1,070 mm, wheelbase of 1,300 mm, seat height of 785 mm, and ground clearance of 150 mm. The GSX-S150 is 4 mm wider than the GSX-R150, at 674 mm. The GSX-R150 weighs 131 kg and the GSX-S150 weighs 130 kg. The suggested retail prices for these two models will be announced at the time of official sales (GSX-R150 in June 2017 and GSX-S150 in August 2017).
With its classic design, the GD110 meets the desires of middle-aged people who love classic manual motorcycles, as well as young people who like to express their individuality by customizing their bikes to their own style. The bike is equipped with a 112.8cc air-cooled engine and a Dale carburetor. With a 4-speed gearbox, this manual motorcycle achieves 8 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 8.5 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The GD110 has a suggested retail price of 28,490,000 VND (including VAT) and has been available on the market since May 2017.
The Suzuki products displayed at the exhibition not only carry the pride of their renowned engine generation but also surprise customers with their innovative and transformative image, as well as Suzuki's ability to inspire.
Sports and fashion – Suzuki leads the trend.
In this modern era, customers demand more from a two-wheeled vehicle than just pure technical features. This exhibition also serves as a platform for Suzuki Vietnam to convey the message that Suzuki is ready to innovate to meet customer needs.
This innovation is first and foremost reflected in the product design. The models not only prioritize performance but are also visually appealing. Every product from the company, from scooters to sports bikes, is stylish and individualistic, yet sophisticated. These models are durable on the open road, captivating on city streets, and attract all eyes. Suzuki users are those who dare to be different, who want to assert themselves, and who understand the value of their vehicles as they understand themselves.
Kien, a person who rides many large-displacement Suzuki motorcycles, said:"TUmbrellaI really enjoyed the models, as well as the display and presentation of Suzuki at this exhibition. I was surprised by Suzuki's innovations in Vietnam. It's not just about the bikes; the company has shown great attention to the user's emotions. Personally, I liked the 2017 GSX-RR the most, and the GSX-R150 and GSX-S150 models, which inherit many features and technologies from the GSX-RR line.”.
Suzuki's artistic performances at the exhibition also demonstrated the company's readiness for innovation. These included catwalks by beautiful models and a vibrant guitar performance by a rock band.
Suzuki also offered many attractive fashion accessories, such as artistic multi-purpose scarves, to customers visiting the Suzuki booth at the exhibition.
