10 car models – diverse styles for all customers
Speed enthusiasts, those who have been fascinated by the sound that tears through space, cannot forget the saying "A thousand words are not worth the smoke of a cigar" when talking about the RGV 2-stroke "Su xi-po" motorbikes of the past. After many years, they will have the opportunity to relive those feelings at the Vietnam Motorcycle Show 2017, where Suzuki brings a space full of sporty atmosphere with the appearance of 10 models that made the Suzuki brand famous in the world as well as in the Vietnamese market.
The main design of the exhibition booth is “wind-tearing” with the image of sharp wings, the wings of the eagle - the speed legend Suzuki Hayabusa, also the wings of the spirit of freedom, bringing the sprints that generations of Suzuki sports cars possess. The pinnacle of that achievement is the 2017 version of the MotoGP GSX-RR superbike right in the middle of the exhibition booth. Visitors can witness the motorcycle model on the world's top two-wheeled racetrack.
Along with the 2017 GSX-RR super product, there are a series of famous commercial motorcycle models that many bikers in Vietnam wish to own. That is the versatile sport-touring V-Strom or the powerful naked-bike GSX1000. These models all inherit a series of top technologies that Suzuki brought down from the racetrack, giving them the ability to operate on the street just as excitingly.
If large displacement models are not for everyone, then the completely new small-sized motorbikes are the choice for the majority. At the exhibition, Suzuki Vietnam introduced the 2017 version of the hyper under-one sports Raider FI 150, the sport-bike GSX-R150 and the naked-bike GSX-S150, both new versions. In addition, the richness in the product portfolio also comes from the GZ150A and GD110 models, which are the choices of many people who love to modify, and finally the Impulse and Address, scooter models that are popular in Vietnam.
3 new small motorcycle models for Vietnamese customers
The GSX-R150 and GSX-S150 are all-new sports bikes with a powerful, attractive design; with the most powerful engine and acceleration in the 150cc segment thanks to the harmonious combination of engine power and body weight. These two models possess flexible control and outstanding fuel economy. Above all, this is the Suzuki GSX-R series, a great motorcycle that anyone can be proud to own.
The GSX-R150 has a sporty look while the GSX-S150 has a nakedbike look but uses the same 4-stroke DOHC single-cylinder engine with a capacity of 150cc, liquid-cooled, electronic fuel injection FI, capacity of 18.6/10,500 horsepower, maximum torque of 14 Nm/9,000 rpm. 6-speed gearbox. Safety equipment with single disc brake system on both wheels.
The new pair of products are equipped with high-end features such as smart lock on GSX-R150, LCD electronic clock, LED headlights. Both have the same length of 1,975 mm, height of 1,070 mm, wheelbase of 1,300 mm, seat height of 785 mm, ground clearance of 150 mm. While the width of GSX-S150 is 4 mm wider than GSX-R150, at 674 mm. The weight of GSX-R150 is 131 kg and GSX-S150 is 130 kg. The suggested retail price for these two models will be announced at the time of official sale (GSX-R150 in June 2017 and GSX-S150 in August 2017).
With a classic design, the GD110 meets the expectations of middle-aged people who love classic manual motorbikes or young people who love to express their personality by renovating their motorbikes in their own style. The motorbike is equipped with a 112.8 cc engine, air-cooled and a Dale carburetor. With a 4-speed gearbox, the manual model reaches a capacity of 8 horsepower at 8,500 rpm, torque of 8.5 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The GD110 has a suggested price of 28,490,000 VND (including VAT) and will be sold on the market from May 2017.
