The Danish trio Vivo performs romantic period music.

The name “Vivo” suggests a musical style that is vibrant, powerful and unique. These adjectives are also very appropriate when describing the personalities of three young and enthusiastic artists from Denmark, who have quickly established careers as chamber musicians and soloists in the Danish music scene, with a long list of prestigious awards to prove it.

Vivo Trio, founded in 2012 by three friends, has performed numerous concerts and appeared at major music festivals, including the Copenhagen Summer Music Festival. This evening, Vivo Trio will perform two works by Johannes Brahms and Robert Schumann, two famous composers of German romantic music, as well as a work by Danish composer Rued Langgaard and a tango by Astor Piazolla. The trio will be accompanied by Vietnamese violinist Nguyen My Huong and Danish violist Nicolaj Moeller Nielsen, currently living in Hanoi. The Vivo Trio's mark is the combination of high technical precision and strong emotional impact of the works.
