As a Vietnamese professional female golfer, Nhung possesses numerous international titles, including two titles at the Cactus Tour USA. She also competed in the 2009 Australian Open and qualified for the 2009 US Open. Nhung will face Nontaya Srsawang from Thailand, Chihiro Ikeda from the Philippines, and Inesh Putri from the host country.

The short course and par 69 provided the perfect conditions for Ikeda to shine. The Philippine representative won 13 holes and received the Lydia Ivana Memorial Golf Tournament crown along with a prize of 12 million rupiah (over 22 million VND).
The tournament also raised 150 million rupiah (over 277 million VND) through donations and the auction of the female golfer's memorabilia. This money will be donated to four charities that Ivana supported during her lifetime.
Ms. Nhung is a member of the Ladies Asian Golf Tour, and the Lydia Ivana Memorial Game is a tournament organized to commemorate a close friend, Indonesian professional female golfer Lydia Ivana Jaya, who passed away on June 17th from pneumonia. The tournament counts towards the LAGT ranking system.
