According to the Information Center (Vietnam National Tourism Administration), the international travel magazine Travel+Leisure has just announced the list of the 21 most beautiful waterfalls in the world. Ban Gioc Waterfall ranked 17th, being the only representative from Vietnam on the list published in mid-May 2024.
Located on the Vietnam-China border, Ban Gioc Waterfall is in Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang province.
With a height of over 60m and a steepest slope of 30m, Ban Gioc Waterfall is renowned as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam, the largest natural waterfall in Southeast Asia, and the fourth largest waterfall located on a border in the world.
