Thai Vietjet launches low-cost route Da Lat – Bangkok

The Da Lat - Bangkok route will be operated by Thai Vietjet - a subsidiary of Vietjet in Thailand - using A320 aircraft from December 18, 2017, with four round-trip flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Accordingly, the flight departs from Bangkok at 10:45 AM and from Da Lat at 12:45 PM, with a flight time of one hour and 45 minutes each way. Tickets are available for sale at www.vietjetair.com starting from only 68,000 VND (excluding taxes and fees).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Binh - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Thai Vietjet, receives the new operator certificate in Thailand.

With the new Da Lat-Bangkok route starting in December 2017, Vietjet will operate a total of six international routes between Thailand and Vietnam, including flights from Bangkok to Hanoi, Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Lat, and flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Phuket and Chiangmai.

Thai Vietjet, a subsidiary of Vietjet in Thailand, has officially received its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) in accordance with the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT). The airline also announced a new international route from Da Lat to Bangkok. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Binh, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Thai Vietjet, stated: “This AOC certification will further strengthen customer confidence in Vietjet’s services in particular and the aviation industry of Vietnam and Thailand in general. I am very pleased that from now on, people of both countries can enjoy each other’s scenic spots with the airline’s continuously expanding route network.”
