The Italian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam, Mr. Lorenzo Angeloni, stated that, within the framework of the event, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy will also announce the sustainable development cooperation between Italy and Vietnam in the fashion sector through the Italy-Vietnam Fashion Council.
On this trip, the four designers continued to bring characteristic Vietnamese materials with bold and experimental combinations. For example, designer Minh Hanh combined two seemingly contrasting materials, jeans and brocade, in a captivating way in her collection.
Minh Hạnh skillfully handles geometric patterns. While still using ideas that are very close to life, she has created a different feeling for the ao dai, making it both poetic and powerful, with a lot of new energy.

As for Lan Huong, dubbed the muse of the Vietnamese ao dai, she remains faithful to Vietnamese silk and traditional hand embroidery. Her ao dai designs are like works of art, expressed through meticulous embroidery techniques. The plum blossoms, orchids, chrysanthemums, bamboo, and lotus flowers appearing on Lan Huong's ao dai all exude a genuine and vibrant beauty. It's not just the skill of the embroiderer, but also the spirit and philosophy of the designer who has poured their heart and soul into each piece, into every stitch and every graceful detail of the ao dai.

Having also captivated fashion enthusiasts with ideas from his homeland, designer Cong Khanh introduces the delicate beauty of white egrets flying over vast fields and the few remaining red-crowned cranes in Tram Chim National Park in Southern Vietnam. There will be many unexpected changes in the design of his collection.

Highly regarded for his knowledge and understanding of fashion, as well as his keen grasp of global fashion trends, Quang Nhật's collection utilizes coarse linen and jute fabrics from the Ha Giang region along with embroidery to evoke the serene beauty of Vietnamese countryside. This ambitious young man, who aspires to revive these precious ethnic materials, also boldly incorporates local gemstones to adorn the garments, adding a modern and profound touch.

The organizers announced that Miss Vietnam 2010 Ngoc Han, Miss Beach 2010 Nguyen Thi Loan, Runner-up of Miss Vietnam Through Photography Phuong Lien, and models from Roma will be the models for this show.
This event is part of the Vietnam Culture Week in Rome series, jointly organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Italy, the Rome city government, the Museo di Roma museum, the Gattinoni fashion group, and the Italian Embassy in Vietnam.
