Thor: Ragnarok releases the best trailer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

11/04/2017

Recently, Marvel's blockbuster Thor: Ragnarok released its first trailer with a series of shocking details.

After Guardian of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Thor: Ragnarok is Marvel's second "bomb" in 2017. The film marks the transformation of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) before the final battle Avengers: Infinity War next year. After releasing the character designs not long ago, the first trailer of Thor: Ragnarok has also been released, making fans restless.

With a dark tone completely different from previous works, the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth) was defeated for the first time and became a prisoner of the enemy. The villain who appeared right after was Hela, played by star Cate Blanchett. However, the detail that shocked viewers was that Hela easily destroyed the hammer Mjolnir, the most powerful weapon in the MCU up to now. There is no doubt that the goddess of hell is the most powerful villain in Marvel ever. She can even be compared to the "final boss" Thanos. With Cate Blanchett's acting talent, Hela promises to be the most attractive and impressive villain of the MCU.

Right after defeating Thor, Hela's next target is Asgard. With the legendary Nightsword, she easily brings destruction to the sanctuary of the Norse gods. Thor falls to a strange land and becomes a prisoner of Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson). The trailer also reveals the young female warrior's past of confronting and losing to Hela. However, Valkyrie promises to play an important role in the war of Asgard.

In addition, the nearly 2-minute clip also impressed with the appearance of Loki (Tom Hiddleston). After the previous film, Loki disguised himself as Odin and ruled Asgard. However, this time, he appeared in his true form and had a rather new look. Surely behind this image is a series of mysteries that the film still hides. Loki's role as Thor's ally or enemy has not been revealed yet, but it will likely be the key point of Thor: Ragnarok.

In addition, the return of Heimdall (Idris Alba) in a completely new look or the character Skurge played by Karl Urban also brings many interesting things.

Thor, once again, becomes a prisoner of the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum) and is forced to become his gladiator. With short hair and a warrior-like outfit, Thor delights viewers with his strong and powerful appearance. Surprisingly, his opponent is his former teammate, the Hulk. The Hulk in the movie also has a pretty good-looking gladiator appearance. This is an image taken from Marvel's extremely famous Planet Hulk comic. It seems that, as previously rumored, Thor: Ragnarok will be a combination of the two Ragnarok and Planet Hulk comics. Not yet overjoyed to see his friend, the "God of Thunder" is shocked to realize that the green giant seems to have lost his memory. These two powerful characters promise to bring a fierce and extremely thrilling confrontation.

With extremely eye-catching and equally epic fighting images of a series of characters in the movie, Thor: Ragnarok promises to be the best standalone movie about the "God of Thunder" as well as one of the most excellent works of the MCU up to now. How will Thor, without his divine hammer, fight against Hela?

Can Thor reclaim his kingdom?

Thor: Ragnarok is directed by Taika Waititi. The film stars Chris Hemsworth, Idris Alba, Tom Hiddleston, Jeff Goldblum, Anthony Hopkins, Cate Blanchett, etc. and is scheduled to be released on October 27, 2017 (1 week earlier than in North America).

In addition to the main films about The Avengers, the individual films of each superhero produced by Marvel Studios are eagerly awaited by the fan community as well as the world's cinema enthusiasts every day. Thor: Ragnarok, the third part of the Thor series, is no exception. Recently, Marvel Studios has pleased fans by revealing images of some of the main characters of the film.
