The free walking tour of Da Nang has been well received by many tourists.

A free walking tour of Da Nang is being initiated and run by young people and locals, with the desire to introduce tourists to the people and life of Da Nang in the most intimate, simple, and authentic way.

The project, called "Da Nang Free Walking Tour," was initiated by Nguyen Minh Loi, a young man born in the 1990s, and is attracting the attention of many tourists and volunteers. Each walking tour lasts about 2-3 hours, with destinations depending on the tourists' requests. This is a reasonable walking time, not too strenuous, and also gives tourists the opportunity to learn about and explore the culture and life of the local people. Currently, the project has attracted many volunteers fluent in a variety of languages such as English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc., to suit the needs of tourists. This is also an opportunity for them to improve their foreign language skills, engage in cultural exchange, and enhance their soft skills.

Banh xeo (Vietnamese savory pancake) is a specialty in Da Nang.

In addition, paid tours such as "Shopping Tour" and "Foody Story Tour" help visitors discover interesting shopping and dining spots in the city. Currently, these tours are available in four main languages: English, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. However, on these tours, volunteers only sell stories – stories about food, history, culture, people, etc. Visitors can experience the food themselves wherever they want. The stories about the food told to visitors are also very simple and charming. Each dish tells a story about how grandmothers and mothers cooked it, and how they seasoned it according to local tastes.

Lợi and the other volunteers participating in the project aspire to develop the network and expand the "free walking tour" model to areas surrounding Da Nang, such as Hoi An and Hue.
