The Ford Tourneo is an impressive MPV with a large, imposing, and robust body design, while still ensuring a large airflow angle thanks to its aerodynamic design. The Tourneo has overall dimensions of Length x Width x Height: 4976mm x 2095mm x 1990mm. The wheelbase is 2933 mm and the ground clearance is 149 mm.
The vehicle is equipped with an electronically controlled air suspension system at the rear that automatically adjusts the amount of air to adapt to the vehicle's load. The Ford Tourneo's front suspension is an independent McPherson type combined with a subframe and horizontal stabilizer bar, and hydraulic shock absorbers, which helps increase stability and ride comfort.
The side profile is a seamless, square shape, incorporating sliding doors on both sides, along with side steps. The exterior rearview mirrors are large, electrically adjustable, and feature convex mirrors underneath to increase the viewing angle. The windows use high-quality tinted glass and feature a frameless design that extends seamlessly from front to rear.
The new Ford Tourneo boasts a powerful appearance with a "Dramatic" design style similar to Ford's passenger car models, featuring a large hexagonal grille. The headlights, with their LED daytime running lights, sweep gently along the muscular shoulder line of the front of the vehicle.
The interior of the Ford Tourneo is configured with 7 seats. The second row features two independent seats that can be adjusted forward and backward by up to 200 mm, while the third row has three seats. Notably, the third row seats can be folded down flat like a table, or removed by flipping them up in a 60/40 split, allowing passengers to have more cargo space. The rear door has a square shape, measuring 1.4 m high and 1.22 m wide, and the low floor makes loading and unloading easy.
The Ford Tourneo's top-of-the-line BOSCH 9.1 safety technology package, offering superior safety, is a notable feature. It includes: cruise control (on the Titanium version); 8 collision warning sensors and a parking assist camera; ABS and EBD braking systems; ESP electronic stability control, TCS traction control, and HLA hill-start assist; and 2 front airbags, 2 side airbags, and 2 curtain airbags for the two front doors (only on the Titanium version).
When officially launched in the Vietnamese market, the Ford Tourneo will compete in a segment that includes the Mercedes-Benz V250 (priced at 2.569 billion VND), Peugeot Traveller (priced at 1.699 billion VND and 2.249 billion VND), and Kia Sedona (priced from 1.079 billion VND to 1.399 billion VND).
