With 80 photos introducing cultural, social, economic, urban activities, daily life of the capital's people and beautiful images of Hanoi streets, the exhibition is divided into four main themes: Landscape, Culture, Life, Craft Villages. The 80 works in the exhibition were taken and preserved by members of the Hanoi Senior Citizens Photography Club, reporters and collaborators of the Economic and Urban Newspaper during their years of working.
The beautiful moments of the works showed the audience that besides a Hanoi with cultural depth, there is also the vibrant life of Hanoi's streets in the process of development. In addition to the pride of Hanoi - the Heroic Capital, the City for Peace, the works also clearly expressed the love for Hanoi of the authors, who have lived, worked and been attached to Hanoi for the past decades.
Among the 80 photos displayed at the exhibition marking its 12th anniversary, many works have contributed to creating a mark for the photo column “Hanoi in me” in the weekend issues of Kinh te and Do thi newspapers over the past 12 years.
According to the assessment of photographer Dao Quang Minh, Vice President of the Hanoi Photography Association: “More than 80 photos displayed in the exhibition are 80 colors of people and life in the Capital. Suitable for our exhibition, “The Rhythm of Life in the Capital”. The quality of the photos is relatively good, from the way of emphasizing, choosing points, choosing the scene, to choosing wood printing technology for the photos in the exhibition has highlighted the lines and values in each photo”.
“Hanoi in me” is an annual exhibition organized by the Economic and Urban Newspaper in collaboration with the Hanoi Senior Photography Club. After 11 years - 11 exhibitions, “Hanoi in me” has become a meeting place for photography lovers, Hanoi lovers in early October every year. The exhibition has left an impression on the public with its sincere, deep and lasting love for Hanoi; a professional eye rich in humanity and many life experiences.
The exhibition takes place from October 9 to 13.
