Inspired by the abstract things that everyone in this world possesses: time - youth and the true value of life, artist Ta Bach Duong created keys to reopen the "memory box" to satisfy the desire to capture every moment of time, wanting to keep all the smallest things of life with emotions, but joy, sadness, pain, hope and love...
Polyester is the base material for the works in the exhibition. Its properties when frozen are like a thick, transparent layer of water. It can enclose, solidify, and store anything I put into it. I use it with the idea of “freezing” and “packaging” feelings – beautiful joys and sorrows that come and go.
The series of works created during the residency – “EVERY DAY” captures the beauty of the place where the artist is residing using familiar materials that I collected while living here. Then I poured Polyester into them, cured them to create a miniature 3D space.
