Mercedes-Benz Vietnam (MBV) has just marked the 30th anniversary of its presence in the Vietnamese market with the impressive "LiveRARE" event, an attractive luxury space combining a fleet of top-of-the-line cars worth nearly 100 billion VND and high-end fashion shows. The event is not only an occasion to celebrate the brand's long-standing journey but also affirms its leading position in the luxury car segment, bringing unique experiences and the quintessence of mechanical art.
The highlight of the event was the official launch of the two latest upgraded car versions: Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 4MATIC Facelift with a suggested retail price of VND 5,689,000,000 and Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 Facelift priced at VND 12,379,000,000. In the "Live Rare" space, exquisitely designed with the main red color, handcrafted and limited to only about 60 guests per time slot, visitors had the opportunity to admire a total of 09 top luxury car models from three prestigious brands Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-AMG and Mercedes-Maybach.
The display vehicles, from iconic sedans to super luxury SUVs, represent the pinnacle of design, technology and brand heritage, with an estimated total value of nearly 100 billion VND, affirming the stature and diversity of MBV's product range.
Among the mechanical masterpieces on display, the Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 4MATIC FL stands out with the title "S-Class of SUVs", equipped with a 3.0L I6 gasoline engine (M256M) integrated with the new generation ISG2 intelligent starter & generator system, producing 381 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, providing smooth acceleration and optimal fuel economy.

This mid-life upgrade version uses a 3.0L I6 gasoline engine (M256M) with integrated smart starting & generator system.
In terms of design, the car has a silver-plated grille inspired by the G-Class, a sharp front bumper and a new three-block rear light cluster. The interior continues to maintain the "Modern Luxury" style with a HUD display on the windshield, standard heated and ventilated front seats, multi-layer soundproof glass, a transparent bonnet, an ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL air filtration system and a new generation MBUX infotainment system. Three interior leather color options: Black, Catalana Beige or Bahia Brown combined with anthracite-colored oak wood trim create harmony and luxury.
The interior continues to be loyal to the "Modern Luxury" style and adds a series of equipment.
The pinnacle of luxury in the super luxury SUV segment is represented by the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 FL. This model is equipped with a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine, 557 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, accompanied by the latest generation ISG2 system and 9G-TRONIC gearbox, providing outstanding performance and the smoothness typical of Maybach.

In terms of design, the car has 23-inch Maybach monolithic alloy wheels, Maybach logo welcome lights illuminated on all four doors, and new three-block taillights.

The interior retains the business configuration with First-Class rear seats, integrated folding tables, 29-speaker Burmester® 3D sound system with 1,610W capacity, and two 11.6-inch entertainment screens. The car also integrates the "Transparent Bonnet" camera system, the latest driving assistance package and the ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL air filtration system, optimizing peace of mind and comfort for the owner.
In addition, the event also introduced the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 SE PERFORMANCE, the first AMG roadster in Vietnam using a plug-in hybrid powertrain, combining the famous V8 engine with modern E PERFORMANCE technology, delivering up to 816 horsepower.
The Mercedes-Maybach S 680 4MATIC, priced at around VND 16 billion, affirms its leading position in the super luxury sedan segment thanks to its powerful 6.0L V12 engine, producing 612 horsepower and maximum torque of 900 Nm, along with high-end amenities such as active ambient lighting, front/rear seat air conditioning, ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL air filtration and DIGITAL LIGHT headlights, creating a Maybach-style interior space.
Another special highlight of the LiveRARE exhibition is the presence of the classic Mercedes-Benz 220 S (W111, produced in 1959). This car, with a 2.2L I6 (inline 6-cylinder) engine with a capacity of nearly 105 horsepower and a maximum speed of 160 km/h, is a symbol of post-war luxury in Germany and has contributed to reshaping the Mercedes-Benz brand.
Displaying the 220 S next to the Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4MATIC not only creates a dialogue between the past and the future, but is also a way for MBV to honor the brand's development stages in Vietnam, where cars are not only vehicles but also moving works, telling the story of the times.
The event is also a place where fashion meets mechanical masterpieces through an exclusive show with the theme “Symmetrical Motions”. This is the first time MBV has collaborated with Creative Director Cuong Dam and Harper's Bazaar magazine, creating a resonance between performance and aesthetics, modern technology and liberal arts spirit.

Two exclusive shows took place on the morning of July 4 and 5, with 15 models in 15 unique designs from the C.DAM Exclusive Collection. The collection was divided into three thematic groups: EVOKING (sensual, powerful, corresponding to AMG), TRANSFORMING (sophisticated, transforming, corresponding to Mercedes-Benz), and EXTRAORDINARY (the pinnacle of luxury, distinctive, representing Maybach), creating a subtle contrast between "static" car masterpieces and dynamic fashion movements.
