Mercedes-Benz Vietnam (MBV) recently celebrated its 30th anniversary in the Vietnamese market with the impressive "LiveRARE" event, a captivating luxury space showcasing a lineup of top-of-the-line vehicles worth nearly 100 billion VND and high-end fashion shows. The event not only commemorated the brand's enduring journey but also affirmed its leading position in the luxury car segment, offering unique experiences and the pinnacle of mechanical artistry.
The highlight of the event was the official launch of the two latest upgraded models: the Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 4MATIC Facelift with a suggested retail price of VND 5,689,000,000 and the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 Facelift priced at VND 12,379,000,000. In the exquisitely designed "Live Rare" space, featuring a dominant red color scheme, handcrafted production, and limited to approximately 60 guests per hour, visitors had the opportunity to admire a total of nine top-of-the-line luxury vehicles from three prestigious brands: Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-AMG, and Mercedes-Maybach.
The lineup of vehicles on display, from iconic sedans to ultra-luxury SUVs, represents the pinnacle of design, technology, and brand heritage, with an estimated total value of nearly 100 billion VND, affirming the stature and diversity of MBV's product range.
Among the mechanical masterpieces on display, the Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 4MATIC FL stands out with its title "S-Class of SUVs," equipped with a 3.0L I6 gasoline engine (M256M) incorporating the new generation ISG2 intelligent start-start and generator system, producing 381 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, delivering smooth acceleration and optimal fuel efficiency.
The Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 4MATIC FL is dubbed the "S-Class of SUVs".
This mid-cycle refresh uses a 3.0L I6 gasoline engine (M256M) with an integrated intelligent start and generator system.
In terms of design, the car features a silver-plated grille inspired by the G-Class, a sharp front bumper, and new three-block taillights. The interior continues the "Modern Luxury" style with a head-up display, standard heated and ventilated front seats, multi-layered soundproof glass, a Transparent Bonnet, an ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL air filtration system, and the new generation MBUX infotainment system. Three interior leather color options—Black, Catalana Beige, or Bahia Brown—combined with matte anthracite oak wood trim, create a harmonious and luxurious feel.
The interior remains true to the "Modern Luxury" style and adds a range of features.
The pinnacle of luxury in the ultra-luxury SUV segment is embodied in the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 FL. This model is equipped with a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine, producing 557 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. It also features the latest generation ISG2 system and a 9G-TRONIC transmission, delivering superior performance and the characteristic Maybach smoothness.
The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 FL represents the S-Class level of luxury in the ultra-luxury SUV segment.
In terms of design, the car features 23-inch Maybach monoblock wheels, illuminated Maybach logo welcome lights on all four doors, and a new three-block taillight cluster.

In addition, the event also introduced the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 SE PERFORMANCE, AMG's first roadster in Vietnam to use a plug-in hybrid powertrain, combining the renowned V8 engine with advanced E PERFORMANCE technology, delivering up to 816 horsepower.
The Mercedes-Maybach S 680 4MATIC, priced at approximately 16 billion VND, asserts its leading position in the ultra-luxury sedan segment thanks to its powerful 6.0L V12 engine, producing 612 horsepower and 900 Nm of maximum torque, along with high-end amenities such as active ambient lighting, front and rear seat climate control, ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL, and DIGITAL LIGHT headlights, creating an interior space that truly embodies the Maybach spirit.
Another highlight of the LiveRARE exhibition is the presence of the classic Mercedes-Benz 220 S (W111, produced in 1959). This car, with its 2.2L I6 (inline 6-cylinder) engine producing nearly 105 horsepower and a top speed of 160 km/h, is an icon of post-war luxury in Germany and helped reshape the Mercedes-Benz brand.
Displaying the 220 S alongside the Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4MATIC not only creates a dialogue between the past and the future but also serves as MBV's way of honoring the brand's development in Vietnam, where cars are not just means of transportation but also moving works of art, telling the story of their time.
The event also featured a fusion of fashion and mechanical masterpieces through an exclusive show themed “Symmetrical Motions”. This marked the first time MBV collaborated with Creative Director Cuong Dam and Harper's Bazaar magazine, creating a synergy between performance and aesthetics, modern technology and a liberating artistic spirit.

Two exclusive shows took place on the mornings of July 4th and 5th, featuring 15 models in 15 unique designs from the C.DAM Exclusive Collection. The collection was divided into three thematic groups: EVOKING (sensual, powerful, corresponding to AMG), TRANSFORMING (sophisticated, transformative, corresponding to Mercedes-Benz), and EXTRAORDINARY (ultimate luxury, distinctive, representing Maybach), creating a subtle contrast between the "static" masterpieces of automobiles and the vibrant movements of fashion.

To celebrate the LiveRARE event, from July 1st to July 31st, 2025, MBV is offering exclusive promotions for customers purchasing vehicles in July, including one year of motor vehicle physical damage insurance provided by Liberty Insurance Company Limited, or a gift voucher for two years of maintenance at authorized MBV service centers nationwide. Customers can also choose a direct discount of up to VND 250 million on the product price, applicable to most AMG, Maybach, and S-Class models.
