Rotating Art Exhibition

08/01/2018

The Spinning Wheel Exhibition is HypART's first project, featuring 13 young artists showcasing a diverse range of art forms from painting, sculpture, photography, and graphic design to installation and video art. HypART has supported the participants from the initial creative stages to the final completion of the exhibition, hoping to present to the public works created from the enthusiasm and passion of youth.

About HypART

Derived from the meaning of Hyper.Young.Public.Art, HypART was created with the aim of bringing contemporary art closer to the public and providing opportunities for young people passionate about art to develop.

The exhibition is being held in the Ground Floor Cafe – a public space – with the hope of creating a sense of intimacy not only for the general public but also for young people who want to learn about modern art.

The Spinning Wheel Exhibition

Life isn't exactly a straight line; it can be understood as a cycle. It's the cycle of time, the return of space, the routines of daily life. We enter it, rotating with it. Whether it's boring or endless, whether we can control it or are swept along by it... depends on each person's thoughts, mindset, and choices.

Every young person has ambitions, passions, and boundless enthusiasm. But as we adapt to the rhythm of life, anxieties and self-doubt arise within us. We become engrossed in the present, nostalgic for the past, and apprehensive about the future. Meanwhile, the wheel of life continues to roll, without waiting.

The exhibition brings together 13 young people, each with their own concerns, perspectives, and diverse expressions of everyday life. Diverse in art forms and ideas, the exhibition aims to offer a multifaceted view, using the individual stories of each person to paint a broader picture of our time; and to express the thoughts of today's youth as they embark on their journey of self-affirmation.

The exhibition “Spinning Wheel” – an art project by HypART featuring 13 young artists and 22 artworks. Opening time: 11:00 AM – Saturday, January 6, 2018. Location: Ground Floor, Cosmo, 10 Khuc Hao Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi. The exhibition runs until January 28, 2018, open from 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM daily.
