Ceramic Inspiration from the Mekong Region
Besides the alluvial grains that make up a fertile delta, there are other alluvial grains on both sides of the Mekong River. They are the quintessence of the talents of craftsmen and artisans, distilled from thousands of years of culture in local craft villages.
Jean pottery:Shabby, innocent, rustic and full of craftsmanship, Jean pottery attracts the eye with its deep blue glaze. Jean pottery is made from an unimaginably shabby kiln in Cambodia. The local potters work with the most primitive tools, even the pottery carving tools are bicycle spokes and broken saw blades.
