British billionaire wants to build a marina in Da Nang.

Joe Lewis is currently touring Vietnam's beautiful destinations on his $150 million superyacht, Aviva. He visited Ho Chi Minh City on April 30th, followed by trips to Can Tho and Phu Quoc Island (Kien Giang province). On the morning of May 13th, his yacht docked in Da Nang. The mooring of the 98-meter-long Aviva at Tien Sa port (Da Nang) proved quite complex, taking a full 30 minutes to complete.

During his time in Da Nang, the British billionaire visited several famous tourist attractions such as Ba Na Hills, Da Nang night market, Hoi An ancient town, and enjoyed the local specialty, chicken rice. On the afternoon of May 14th, Mr. Joe Lewis was warmly welcomed by Mr. Huynh Duc Tho, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City. During the meeting, Mr. Huynh Duc Tho introduced the 82-year-old billionaire to the potential, advantages, landscapes, and scenic spots of Da Nang City.

Mr. Joe Lewis was very impressed with the scenery and geographical location of the city on the Han River and believed that Da Nang is very suitable for developing cruise tourism. He expressed his desire to cooperate with the city in investing in building a modern marina to attract high-end tourists in the near future. According to plans, after concluding his tour of Da Nang, Mr. Joe Lewis will travel to Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh).
