Director and producer Holger Tappe said: “All the characters that appear inFamily Is EverythingAll of them are clearly depicted in the novel, except for the Batties – the humorous bats who are Dracula's companions. As mentioned in "Happy Family", we focused on exploiting the two central characters, Emma and Dracula, but avoided going too deep into Emma's chaotic inner world. Instead, the team spent the film introducing the audience to the other characters in the story."
The story is about Count Dracula who always feels lonely when living in a large castle even though he is living with three lovely bats. And then things become more and more complicated when he falls in love with Emma - the owner of a failing bookstore, married to Frank - an employee who is always in a state of overloaded work. After that, the whole Wishbone family has to suffer the evil curse of the witch Baba Yaga. It is the worst time in the life of the Wishbone family members.
