Dina Litovsky was born in Ukraine and moved to New York City in 1991 to live and study. She is currently a photographer for many leading American travel magazines and newspapers such as National Geographic, the New York Times, and New York Magazine.
Since the beginning of March when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out in the US, like many other citizens, Dina followed the government's social distancing requirements. That's when her cinematic photographs of America were born.
Every night, she spends time wandering through the neighborhood, observing the quiet rebirth of the trees in spring, the sparse crowds, and even catching glimpses of joy and love still shining through the somber atmosphere that envelops New York (NY).
"These days, strolling through New York at night is like stepping into a science fiction novel."
"The Walk of Darkness".
"As the sun sets, the streets of New York become deserted and dark. The windows of each house begin to glow like tiny fireflies, radiating warmth."
"A small sign reminds people of the importance of gratitude."
"At the emergency exit. A happy and warm life, amidst the quiet and stillness of New York."
"Spring is blossoming in this 'ghost town' that was once New York City. I take walks every night, searching for a few lone lights still shining on the deserted streets and the lonely passersby."
"The city, once a city of millions of lights, is now illuminated by colorful windows."
A portrait of shoppers before "the end of the world".

"The order is in effect. Stay."
