Dina Litovsky was born in Ukraine and moved to live and study in New York (USA) since 1991. She is currently a photographer for many leading American travel newspapers and magazines such as National Geographic, New York Times, New York Magazine...
Since the beginning of March when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out in the US, Dina, like many other people, has followed the government's social distancing requirements. That is also when her cinematic photos of America were created.
Every night, she spends time wandering around the neighborhood, observing the quiet growth of trees in spring, the sparseness of people, and even, she catches a glimpse of joy and love still shining, amidst the desolate atmosphere that is covering New York (NY).
"These days, walking around NY at night is like stepping into a sci-fi novel."

"When the sun sets, the streets of New York become deserted and dark. Every house's windows begin to glow like little fireflies, radiating warmth."

"At the fire exit. A happy and warm life, in the middle of a quiet and silent New York."
"Spring is in full bloom in the ghost town that used to be New York City. I take walks every night, looking for the few lone sources of light that still shine on the deserted streets and lonely passersby."
“The city of millions of lights is now lit by colorful windows."
