Huynh Gia Linh (Content freelancer, 28 years old) had a memorable journey in this village. "I am impressed by the way tourism is done here. I have heard a lot about homestay accommodation as well as community tourism. But in Go Co village, it is true to the nature of local tourism. It is staying and living with local people. In addition, I really like places where nature is still wild and not exploited much for commercial tourism," Gia Linh shared.
In Go Co, tourists not only come to visit but also to live with the locals. You can go fishing with fishermen, work with the village women to remove nets, or simply sit and sip a cup of coffee and listen to stories about fishing village life. Gia Linh's trip did not require bustling activities or luxurious services. She spent a lot of time walking on the village roads, admiring the scenery, chatting with the locals and participating in their daily activities.
"I got to know young people who left the city for the beach, and received energy and youthfulness from them. I went swimming with the children in the village, they taught me how to swim and invited me to play their familiar daily games. That was enough for a happy and peaceful day," Linh confided.

Go Co village still retains its natural landscape. The blue, clean coastline and the ancient stone-paved roads leading to the village make the place cool and pleasant. The natural scenery is in harmony with the people's lives, creating a peaceful and quiet picture. The people of Go Co are mostly the elderly and children. Residents still cling to the sea, making a living from traditional fishing. Thanks to the development of community tourism, their lives are now more joyful, with an additional small source of income.

Linh recalls a morning with Uncle Co and Ms. Tinh - the owner of the homestay where she stayed, removing fishing nets at sea: "Uncle Co told me that no matter how much fish they catch each day, the family will eat what they have, and Ms. Tinh will bring the rest to the market to sell. Their daily income is only about 200,000 VND, but since tourism started, their life has become much more exciting."

With nearly 80 households, Go Co village still retains its rustic and simple features. Most of the houses are level 4 houses bearing the mark of time. To enhance the experience for tourists, the locals have cleverly built more thatched houses, bringing a living space close to nature. Although there are not many modern amenities such as air conditioning, this rustic and simple nature is a special attraction for those who love experiential travel and want to immerse themselves in the simple life of the countryside.
