Located on the coast of Quang Ngai, Go Co village emerges like a precious gem, still retaining its pristine beauty amidst the hustle and bustle of modern life. Go Co village is not a crowded destination, but rather a place for those seeking tranquility and authentic local experiences.

The first impression upon arriving in Go Co is one of extraordinary tranquility.
A small, peaceful corner in the coastal region of Quang Ngai.
Huynh Gia Linh (Content freelancer, 28 years old) had a memorable trip to this village. "I was impressed by the way tourism is done here. I've heard a lot about homestays and community tourism. But in Go Co village, it truly embodies the essence of local tourism. It's about staying and living with the local people. Besides, I really like places where nature is still pristine and not heavily exploited for commercial tourism," Gia Linh shared.
In Go Co, visitors don't just come to sightsee; they truly experience life with the local people. You can join fishermen at sea to catch fish, help village women untangle nets, or simply sit and enjoy a cup of coffee while listening to stories about life in the fishing village. The locals here proudly preserve and maintain ancient wells, traditional crafts, and stories from bygone eras.
The people here work together to preserve and protect the cultural values of the village.
Gia Linh's trip didn't require exciting activities or luxurious services. She spent a lot of time strolling along village roads, admiring the scenery, chatting with locals, and participating in their daily activities.
"I've gotten to know young people who left the city for the beach, and I've been energized and inspired by their youthful spirit. Going swimming with the kids in the village, they taught me how to swim and invited me to play their familiar everyday games. That's enough to make for a happy and peaceful day," Linh shared.

Immerse yourself in the slow, peaceful pace of life here.
In a place where time seems to stand still.
The village of Gò Cỏ retains its original natural landscape. The pristine, clear blue coastline and the ancient stone-paved paths leading into the village make it cool and pleasant. The natural scenery harmonizes with the lives of the people, creating a peaceful and tranquil picture. The majority of the residents of Gò Cỏ are elderly people and children. They still rely on the sea for their livelihood, making a living through traditional fishing. Thanks to the development of community tourism, their lives are now more joyful, with an additional source of income.

Most of the people here make their living primarily from the sea.
Linh recalled a morning with Uncle Co and Aunt Tinh – the owners of the homestay where she stayed – untangling fishing nets at sea: "Uncle Co told me that each day they catch a little or a lot of fish, they eat whatever they have at home, and Aunt Tinh takes the rest to the market to sell. Their daily income is only about 200,000 dong, but since tourism came along, their lives have become much more cheerful."
Stay and live with the local people to better understand and love this land.
With nearly 80 households, Go Co village retains its rustic and simple charm. Most houses are single-story structures bearing the marks of time. To enhance the visitor experience, locals have cleverly built additional thatched-roof houses with mud walls, creating a living space close to nature. Although lacking modern amenities like air conditioning, this very simplicity and authenticity is a special attraction for those who love experiential travel and want to immerse themselves in the peaceful life of the countryside.

"Explore and experience the village with the simplest and most unpretentious heart you can find here. Because here, there is nothing but the genuine warmth of the people and the pristine nature always welcoming you to visit," Linh advised.
