Delegations from the UK, China, Italy, and Germany also decided to expand their participation in the event, following a new global growth trend from India, France, and Türkiye.

Each ASEAN Ceramics event marks a significant milestone in the development of the exhibition and conference held concurrently in Bangkok. "Climate change in Europe has also helped boost investment and competition in the region as companies seek to expand into new markets. Advantageous exchange rates, high-quality production, and low domestic demand have created positive incentives for businesses to enter Asia, and this has been reflected in recent trends, not only in Vietnam."Dr. Somnuk Sirisoonthorn, President of the Thai Ceramics Association and organizer of the International Conference on Traditional and High-End Ceramics, stated.

"The fact that China's costs and market barriers continue to rise is driving European investors toward the East, and with all the ASEAN demand for materials and technology increasing, it's no surprise that the ASEAN Ceramics 2017 is expected to be the most successful event in its history, as it was created to serve the markets in Southeast Asia in particular. Furthermore, Thailand exported a significant amount of ceramics worth up to US$784 million last year and is now boosting investment to continue developing this trend and market growth."David Aitken, CEO of Asia Exhibition Services Co., Ltd., the organizer of the ASEAN Ceramics Exhibition, stated.

The ASEAN Ceramics 2017 exhibition received strong support from government agencies including the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), under the Prime Minister's Office; and the Thai Mechanical and Electrical Consultants Association (MECT).)The exhibition and conference are affiliated with the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP), under the Ministry of Industry.
