Vietnam Airlines opens direct flight Hanoi - Sydney

Flights departing from Hanoi will depart at 23:55. In Sydney, departure times are 15:15 (summer time) and 14:15 (winter time), with a flight time of approximately 9 hours and 35 minutes. This is Vietnam Airlines' third route to Australia, after the route between Ho Chi Minh City and Sydney/Melbourne.

On the occasion of opening a new route, Vietnam Airlines has launched a ticket promotion program. From March 28 to April 28, round-trip tickets start at VND11.99 million (equivalent to USD500), and will be on sale until February 28. In addition, prices starting at VND14.69 million (equivalent to USD650) will be on sale from March 1 to 31, applicable to flights departing on March 28 and completed by June 20 at the latest.

Also on this occasion (March 28 - April 28), Golden Lotus members will be awarded bonus miles when taking each direct one-way flight operated by Vietnam Airlines with the following mileage classes between Hanoi and Sydney: 2,500 miles for Business Class, 1,750 miles for Premium Economy Class, 1,250 miles for Economy Class.
