Vietnam Airlines launches direct flight route Hanoi – Sydney

Flights departing from Hanoi will depart at 23:55. From Sydney, departure times are 15:15 (summer time) and 14:15 (winter time), with a flight time of approximately 9 hours and 35 minutes. This is Vietnam Airlines' third route to Australia, following the routes between Ho Chi Minh City and Sydney/Melbourne.

To celebrate the launch of the new route, Vietnam Airlines is offering promotional fares. From March 28th to April 28th, round-trip tickets are priced from 11.99 million VND (approximately 500 USD), with sales open until February 28th. Additionally, fares starting from 14.69 million VND (approximately 650 USD) will be available from March 1st to 31st, applicable to flights departing on March 28th and completed no later than June 20th.

Also during this period (March 28th - April 28th), Golden Lotus members will receive bonus miles for each one-way direct flight operated by Vietnam Airlines between Hanoi and Sydney with the following mileage-earning class rates: 2500 miles for Business Class, 1750 miles for Premium Economy, and 1250 miles for Economy Class.
