Bamboo circus 'My Village' officially debuted to Hanoi audiences

The 60-minute show is held every Monday and Tuesday at 6 p.m. In July, My Village has 6 shows on the nights of July 16-19 and July 25-26.

“My Village” is a subtle blend of traditional values ​​and innovative art, recreating a poetic picture of a peaceful Vietnamese countryside using new circus techniques with Bamboo as the soul of the play, along with spectacular juggling moves and an orchestra of more than 20 unique traditional musical instruments.

In 2005, the group of 4 Authors created “My Village”. From 2009 to 2012, “My Village” toured internationally with more than 300 performances in the following countries: France, the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Greece, Hungary, Germany and Hong Kong.

Established in 2012, Lune Production is widely known for the bamboo circus A O. Since then, the company has brought the works A O, Lang Toi and Dew Som to domestic and international audiences. These works have received enthusiastic sympathy from audiences as well as high appreciation from the artistic perspective and the role of introducing Vietnamese cultural values ​​to the world during their performances at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House as well as tours in Europe.
