Accordingly, vehicles with more than 29 seats are prohibited from traveling on the roads around Xuan Huong Lake from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily, except for the section from the Yersin - Tran Quoc Toan intersection to the Tran Nhan Tong - Tran Quoc Toan intersection. This traffic restriction will last until December 31, 2024.
At the same time, Lam Dong province allows electric vehicles used for transportation (taxis, contract vehicles with fewer than 9 seats) to park and pick up/drop off passengers at public parking spaces on Tran Quoc Toan street. The ban is in effect from 5 am to 11 pm daily. The restrictions on vehicles with more than 29 seats around Xuan Huong Lake will end after December 31st.
This decision aims to facilitate the festival while ensuring the safety of participating visitors.
At the same time, electric vehicles used for commercial transportation (taxis, contract vehicles with fewer than 9 seats) are allowed to park and pick up/drop off passengers at public parking spaces (free parking lots) on Tran Quoc Toan street.
Lam Dong province has authorized Dalat City Tour Co., Ltd. to use 20 electric four-wheeled vehicles and Tinh An Tourism Service Development Investment Company to use 10 vehicles to transport tourists along the route around Xuan Huong Lake (with the option to stop and pick up/drop off passengers at designated points along the route).
The Provincial People's Committee has instructed the Department of Transport to notify transport businesses that wish to organize electric vehicle services to serve tourists visiting the Flower Festival free of charge.

The 2024 Da Lat Flower Festival, themed “Da Lat Flowers – A Symphony of Colors,” features 10 main programs, 12 supporting programs, and 23 other activities. The highlight of this year's Da Lat Flower Festival is the opening ceremony, taking place at 8 PM on December 5th at Lam Vien Square in Da Lat City. In addition to a large-scale, modern outdoor stage incorporating various sound and lighting effects, the artistic program is expected to feature performances by many famous singers and artists from Ho Chi Minh City and Lam Dong province.
