Mr. Ngoc Thien chose the end of October 2022 to climb Bach Moc Luong Tu peak. According to his experience, this is the most suitable time of the year to climb the mountain. The weather at this time will have less rain, visitors can easily watch the sea of clouds, sunset, and sunrise on the mountain peaks. Responding to Travellive, Mr. Thien shared that the journey to conquer Bach Moc Luong Tu peak brought him many different emotions.

"Bach Moc Luong Tu is the 4th highest mountain in Vietnam, and is more difficult to climb than other mountains. On the journey to conquer this mountain, climbers will experience many emotions, many types of weather and terrain, and challenge themselves with a long journey, along with steep cliffs and steep slopes," Ngoc Thien said. He also experienced the feeling of having dinner on the top of Muoi mountain, in the vast, immense and quiet space of the mountains and forests. These are feelings that can never be found in the plains and lowlands.
The photo series of Bach Moc Luong Tu in the early morning mist was taken by the photographer during the entire mountain climbing journey. At first, he did not have a specific plan for where to take the photos, Ngoc Thien took completely spontaneous photos throughout the trip. On the other hand, there were many special photos that required him to spend more time finding new angles. When asked about the difficulties in taking photos on the top of Bach Moc Luong Tu, the photographer shook his head that the mountain climbing route was quite difficult, and the equipment he carried was heavy, so taking photos was not easy.

"In addition to Bach Moc Luong Tu, in Lao Cai, I recommend you climb Nhiu Co San peak," Ngoc Thien said. In the near future, Thien plans to conquer Fanxipang peak, the roof of Vietnam, by road.
Bach Moc Luong Tu (or Ki Quan San) is one of the four highest peaks in Vietnam, located between Lai Chau and Lao Cai provinces. Bach Moc Luong Tu mountain range has quite rugged terrain, and is an attractive Northwest backpacking destination that has been explored by backpackers since 2012. The highest peak of this mountain range is about 3046m above sea level. The distance from the foot of the mountain to the top is about 30km, passing through many different terrains such as bare hills, bamboo forests, large timber forests, dwarf bamboo forests, and steep cliffs covered with moss.
