According to representatives of the Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, the 2023 National Tourism Year will be held in Binh Thuan with the theme "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence". Nearly 27 international, national, and local events will be organized here. Binh Thuan is committed to making every effort to ensure the event is organized successfully and effectively, helping local tourism gain momentum in the coming years.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, agreed in principle to allow Binh Thuan to host the National Tourism Year 2023. The Minister also highly appreciated Binh Thuan's proactive approach in working with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to promote local tourism development, with a focus on the National Tourism Year.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hung also emphasized that Binh Thuan needs to leverage its strengths and overcome difficulties in order to successfully organize the National Tourism Year.
"Binh Thuan province needs to dedicate more time to renewing, building, and affirming its local tourism brand and products. It must communicate and promote its existing potential and strengths, thereby attracting investment, striving to overcome difficulties, and especially preparing resources. The plan for organizing the National Tourism Year must be redesigned into groups of tasks, increasing national-level events, and ensuring that cultural, sports, and tourism events are interconnected to attract tourists," Mr. Nguyen Van Hung commented.

Binh Thuan is a province with a developed tourism industry, boasting beautiful blue seas, white sands, golden sunshine, and unique Cham culture. The province has many large-scale tourism and hotel projects such as Sea Links Beach Hotel, Anantara Mui Ne Beach Resort, Novaworld Phan Thiet, Centara, Apec Mandala Wyndham Mui Ne, etc. The province can provide 600 accommodation establishments with a total of 17,587 rooms. Notably, many infrastructure and transportation connection projects are being invested in and developed, such as the three North-South expressways passing through Binh Thuan.
