According to the representative of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province, the National Tourism Year 2023 will be held in Binh Thuan with the theme "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence". Nearly 27 international, national and local events will be held here. Binh Thuan is committed to making efforts to organize the event successfully and effectively, helping local tourism gain momentum in the following years.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, agreed in principle to let Binh Thuan host the National Tourism Year 2023. The Minister also appreciated Binh Thuan's initiative in working with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to promote local tourism development, with the highlight being the National Tourism Year.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hung also emphasized that Binh Thuan needs to promote its strengths and overcome difficulties to well organize the National Tourism Year.
"Binh Thuan province needs to spend more time to renew, build and affirm the local tourism brand and products. It is necessary to communicate and promote existing potentials and strengths, thereby calling for investment promotion, making efforts to overcome difficulties, especially preparing resources. It is necessary to redesign the project to organize the National Tourism Year according to each group of tasks, increase national events, and organize cultural, sports and tourism events that must be linked together to attract tourists," commented Mr. Nguyen Van Hung.
