This decision means that a number of passenger transport routes to islands such as Con Dao, Phu Quy, Ly Son, and Cu Lao Cham have been temporarily suspended.

The People's Committee of Quang Ngai province announced that the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just issued an urgent dispatch to the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Quang Ngai Maritime Port Authority, and the Chairmen of the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities, regarding the response to the tropical depression.
