“Ford vehicles are not just for transportation; they make every journey more memorable than ever, whether customers are using their vehicles for work, family, or adventure. The opportunity to share knowledge and passion for trucks and SUVs, off-road driving skills, with Ford owners, car enthusiasts, and members of the press is a source of immense pride for Ford in Vietnam,” said Ruchik Shah, General Director of Ford Vietnam.
Ford – The courage to push boundaries
The Ranger and Everest are Ford's powerful duo in the Vietnamese market, representing the best of Ford's product line: a robust appearance, superior performance, and a wealth of technology and safety features.
Ford Ranger and Everest conquer all terrains.
Currently, the Ranger is manufactured and distributed in Vietnam in 6 versions: XLS, XLS+, Sport, Wildtrak, Stormtrak, and Raptor, meeting the diverse needs of users. It's designed for cargo transport, transforms into an efficient vehicle for business, and offers an exciting driving experience and fulfills passions. Among these, the Ranger Wildtrak proudly boasts strengths in performance, appearance, safety, and versatility, alongside many convenient features found in passenger cars.
Following the success of the Ranger Wildtrak, the Ranger Stormtrak was officially launched in Vietnam in April 2024. The first difference comes from its appearance – more luxurious and distinctive, with many chrome-plated details and a sophisticated black and red color scheme. The Ford Ranger Stormtrak's intelligent roof rack system – a first in the pickup truck segment – includes a roof rack and sports bar with a dynamic load capacity of 80 kg and a static load capacity of 250 kg, making it easier and more secure to carry goods in the truck bed. This feature meets all transport needs, even for items with dimensions equivalent to the vehicle's length.
When discussing exceptional off-road performance, the Ranger Raptor is indispensable – the highest-performance variant of the Ranger, developed by Ford's High Performance division specifically for off-road enthusiasts.
The Ford Ranger Raptor boasts a powerful, distinctly American look.
Setting a new standard for on-road and off-road performance, the Ranger Raptor transcends the conventional pickup truck with its ultra-rigid chassis, seven driving modes including a Baja mode specifically tuned for adventurous journeys, a 4A all-wheel drive system with a two-speed electronically controlled transfer case, a rear differential lock, and a suspension system utilizing 2.5-inch FOX shock absorbers to improve handling and stability when cornering.
The Ranger Raptor is also equipped with an off-road cruise control system. The driver simply sets a speed (below 32 km/h), and the vehicle will automatically accelerate or brake to maintain the set speed, while the driver focuses on steering to overcome challenging terrain.
The renowned Ford Everest mid-size SUV is a powerful vehicle on the outside, sophisticated on the inside, blending superior performance with comfort and a host of customer-focused technologies, meeting the needs of everything from city driving to long journeys, and even challenging off-road conditions.
The Ford Everest is equipped with a 360-degree camera system.
The Everest is equipped with a class-unique suspension system, including an independent front suspension with coil springs and a stabilizer bar, offering advantages for off-road driving, and a rear suspension with coil springs, large shock absorbers, and a Watts linkage stabilizer bar for better body control. The 4x4 Everest version features a dedicated off-road display similar to the Ranger, with simulated images to guide the driver through obstacles.
In addition, it features a range of stress-reducing safety technologies that help drivers stay focused on every journey, such as a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and lane keeping assist, blind spot warning combined with cross-traffic alert, emergency braking assist when encountering obstacles, and anti-glare matrix LED headlights.
Besides the high-performance Ranger Raptor with its unique Baja mode, the Ranger Wildtrak, Stormtrak, and Everest 4x4 versions are all equipped with three driving modes (2H, 4H, 4L) and six terrain management system options: Normal, Economy, Towing and Heavy Load, Slippery, Mud, and Sand/Gravel.
