The Lam Dong Provincial Department of Transport announced that two companies will provide free tours for tourists around Xuan Huong Lake (Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province) during the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival, using four-wheeled electric vehicles.
Accordingly, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM on December 5th and 6th, businesses will use a total of 30 electric four-wheeled vehicles to transport tourists for sightseeing. These vehicles will be clearly marked with the sign "VEHICLES SERVING THE 2024 DA LAT FLOWER FESTIVAL - FREE OF CHARGE" for easy identification by visitors.
Residents and tourists visiting Da Lat City during and after the opening day of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2024 will be able to ride electric trams around Xuan Huong Lake for free.
The tour route is a circular route around Xuan Huong Lake (Da Lat City) with specific pick-up and drop-off points for vehicles including: the beginning of Le Thi Hong Gam Street, the beginning of Tran Quoc Toan - Le Thi Hong Gam Street, Le Dai Hanh Street, and parking areas at the intersection of Tran Quoc Toan - Tran Nhan Tong (formerly Phu Dong Thien Vuong); opposite Lam Vien Square; Tran Quoc Toan night market (next to the golf course), opposite Da Lat Flower Garden, and the Quan The Am Pagoda area.
The 10th Da Lat Flower Festival is an important event for Da Lat City in the final days of this year.
Previously, to ensure traffic safety and best serve the Festival event, Lam Dong province also banned vehicles with more than 29 seats from circulating around Xuan Huong Lake from December 1st to the end of December 2024.
The 10th Da Lat Flower Festival officially opened on December 5th. The festival runs throughout December with the theme "Da Lat Flowers - A Symphony of Colors," featuring many unique cultural and artistic programs. The 10th Da Lat Flower Festival will conclude on December 31st with an artistic program welcoming the new year 2025.
