In the tourism industry, especially for air tours, travel agencies proactively take fixed deposit series of tickets early, even a year in advance. Instead of fixing specific flight times for customers, they often advise customers to choose the expected departure time and then flexibly search for the flight date with the best price within that time period.
Domestic airfares are high, so many tourists choose international travel.
Regarding tour prices, many units said that for domestic tourism, road tour groups have increased prices insignificantly, 5-10% compared to the same period in 2023. For air tour products, due to the impact of airfare, tour prices have increased by 20-30% depending on the route.
Tour groups to distant markets such as Northern tours or Central tours (Da Nang, Hue) are currently the tours with the strongest price increase, about 30%.
For foreign travel, especially familiar Asian destinations, including: Japan, Korea, China, Thailand... or long-distance trips such as Europe, Australia, America... are attracting customers with itineraries from 5 - 12 days, very suitable for summer.
