The British Royal Family attended the "World War I Memorial" exhibition.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II, on August 5, 2014, in London, England, Duchess Catherine, Prince William, and Prince Harry visited The Tower of London and saw the ceramic artwork "Bloodstained Land and the Red Sea" by artist Paul Cummins.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine, and Prince William are planting a ceramic poppy, a work by artist Paul Cummins, made up of 888,246 ceramic poppy petals.

Each vibrant red poppy flower represents a victim of World War I.
