Leaving Thuan Hung rice paper village, the tour group took a ferry to Tan Loc islet, known as the "sweet island" of the Western region.
Tan Loc Island, formerly known as Tam Tinh Island, signifies the connection between three provinces: An Giang, Dong Thap, and Can Tho. Located in the middle of the Hau River, it was formed by the combined effect of alluvial deposits and sand from the Mekong River. Therefore, it is also known as Sa Chau Island (Sa Chau Island).

When it was first formed, Tan Loc islet was just a barren land overgrown with reeds. Local residents cleared the land and mainly lived by collecting mussels, clams, and snails. Later, people shifted to fish farming by raising fish in rafts, and from then on, the islet was nicknamed "the fish village". Currently, Tan Loc islet has an area of 3,200 hectares, and its rich alluvial soil has become a valuable resource for developing diverse fruit orchards. From these orchards, residents have taken advantage of the opportunity to develop tourism, as a new highlight for Tan Loc islet.

Travel blogger Vinh Gấu shared: "When we arrived at the island, there were many activities to experience, such as visiting guava orchards, rowing boats, and picking coconuts... What Vinh liked most was experiencing the very crispy, delicious, and naturally sweet guavas. These were arguably the best guavas I've ever eaten in the Mekong Delta, and the chili salt dip further enhanced the flavor. It's a pity they were wrapped in plastic bags to prevent insects and squirrels from eating them, so the whole group didn't have the chance to see the guavas 'bare' on the trees."

After visiting the guava and pear orchard, the tour group moved on to Tan Loc Coconut Garden. Here, visitors can immerse themselves in the world of fresh, delicious coconuts, with rows of unique, straight coconut trees winding through small canals. While visiting this coconut garden, visitors can relax on small boats, gliding through the cool coconut groves and admiring the natural beauty of the Mekong Delta. "It's very cool here, the coconut trees have large, wide canopies, and the sunlight shining through makes it look beautiful. Interspersed among them are waterways, and Vinh and his friends paddled their boats past the coconut groves, which was very picturesque. Besides the experiences in the countryside, Vinh Gấu and his friends were also impressed by the local cuisine.
