The 15th Southern Fruit Festival - 2019 will take place from June 1, 2019 to August 31, 2019, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism in coordination with Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Joint Stock Company, the Department of Agriculture & Rural Development, the Department of Industry and Trade and related units under the direction of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

The festival is a unique and important cultural and tourism event held annually in Ho Chi Minh City. The purpose is to introduce to visitors the unique, rich and diverse varieties of fruits from the Southern river region, while honoring the achievements of labor in the agricultural sector, contributing to promoting the value of Southern agricultural products, in order to enhance the brand value of Southern fruits in particular and Vietnam in general.
At this year's Southern Fruit Festival, visitors will continue to enjoy exploring the Vietnamese culinary paradise with famous Southern delicacies made from fruits, tubers, and fruits. The festival contributes to preserving and transmitting the unique folk culinary culture of the Southern people.

On this occasion, many gardeners and fruit growers from 19 provinces and cities in the South with 766 units will bring to the festival large, delicious, and unique fruits, with discounts of 20-30%. Visitors will experience hundreds of fruits of all kinds. In particular, visitors will enjoy the dish "Longevity Tam Thap Nhi Qua" made from 32 types of fruit that achieved a Vietnamese record in 2012 by Phu Dong Suoi Tien restaurant.
