A representative of the Trang An World Cultural and Natural Heritage Management Board confirmed that this unit has just issued a notice about buying back or converting trees that were knocked down by super typhoon Yagi.
Specifically, according to the Trang An World Cultural and Natural Heritage Management Board, currently the tourist areas and heritage sites managed by the unit such as Bai Dinh and Tam Chuc Tourist Areas... are in need of a large amount of trees to plant and improve the landscape.
A series of old trees in Hanoi were uprooted due to the impact of storms and rains.
Along with that, after super typhoon Yagi (typhoon No. 3) passed through, thousands of trees in Hanoi were knocked down. To quickly overcome the consequences of the storm, the Trang An World Cultural and Natural Heritage Management Board wishes to buy back the trees in Hanoi that were knocked down by super typhoon Yagi to replant in the tourist areas managed by this unit for care and restoration.
The Trang An World Cultural and Natural Heritage Management Board is actively searching for green plants from ancient trees that were knocked down by super typhoon Yagi.
The Trang An World Cultural and Natural Heritage Management Board is calling for the cooperation of the community, organizations and individuals in donating trees damaged by Typhoon Yagi in Hanoi. There is no limit on the number and species of trees, the unit wishes to collect as many trees as possible to serve the work of afforestation and landscape restoration at the Trang An scenic complex.

After that, it will be transferred to the processing department to analyze the situation and then have a unified plan on buying, selling, converting and transporting with partners in need," added a representative of the Trang An World Cultural and Natural Heritage Management Board.
Regarding the damage caused by storm Yagi, the Department of Search and Rescue (General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army) said that as of 10:00 a.m. on September 8, storm No. 3 killed 14 people (Quang Ninh 4, Hanoi 3, Hai Phong 1, Hai Duong 1, Hoa Binh 4, Military Region 3: 1), injured 176 people (Quang Ninh 157, Hanoi 8, Hai Phong 5, Hai Duong 5, Hoa Binh 1).
